..this is nothing new .. I don't get this post.
... rather it was done right than done quick.
u shall perish for this comment (LMFAO)
sites are just taking pieces of what other sites have said ... it's the one problem with online journalism.
oh my this made me cry with laughter .. where did you get that! LOL
in the least
that you were ...given all the new stuff out on it today :D
Whoa .. . didn't know about that comparison ...
didn't really care .. I had picked up kz2 and enjoyed it thoroughly .... but there's an obvious difference in the level of effort put in the 2007 vid and the original vid.
I don't mind that it's like ICO but sounds interesting.
the original article was posted over at IGN UK ... and the writer was referring to the scale of the level ... not the game itself ... here's the snip-it ...
" ... They're matched by a new and impressive sense of scale too. The first three minutes we're allowed to go hands-on with has more set-pieces crammed in to it than the entire first level of Killzone 2, and it's also ten times bigger than what had gone before. It's a change that has obvious rami...
... I was thinking that first news post was bogus ... but I guess not. I already hear the out cries about it being on Earth the plot nick pickers who would bellow an outcry of "epic plot hole" ...
... epic to say the least.
Oo
.. . I had to stop. Don't have nothing against Gabe but I didn't see how this really benefits console makers/devlopers.
Scrubbing to about 60% of this video he goes on to mention something about competition being good but then goes a little south on the very existence of other platforms, their framework, the way that owners of the competition (MS/Sony) set developers up to bring up games to masses (which he seems to have the biggest issue with).
None...
awesome find .. I guess the PS3 could careless about Gabe (or did you really mean Sony)? LOL
the cut scene was cool looking but it would have been nice if they actually had gameplay footage in there .. they'll probably reveal that at e3 I guess.
I didn't think anyone else noticed that one ...
but ya, I'll never forget Onimusha on XBOX and MS's campaign on how much better it was ... Sony, devs, etc could do the same but it's all a little odd.
yet, dev houses, producers, etc know what they are doing .. they'll gimp games (on whichever platform) and keep them the same (more or less) to keep gamers in the current install base happy... if one game was so drastically better (in this case the ps...
best comment on here yet, everyone's so serious ... LOL but nope I doubt they'll add that ... ummm beast to the game .. it has unfair size advantages.
... multiplayer. This is probably one of them. I know EA is just cashing in on the popularity of the first game but doing so always means your team has to focus on two unique elements/experiences for users.
The first team that did this game made the right move to focus on the SP mode to deliver something solid. Everything in that article sounds cool but I liked the fact that Isaac was slow, and the reaction time was slow .. it added to the whole intensity of the game but per...
... development is getting easier on the ps3. I'll never get programmers, they bitch and complain for every sony console within the first two years of it's life then the start praising it in 3rd and years beyond. Still it's nice to see NT branch out to Xbox and other consoles and if development is that much easier for them then here's hoping for an even tighter title.
