this one could be really good and I am guessing with Kojima helping out the team working on the game, Konami can not really go wrong. However, for me, SOTN is on a pedestal that no other game in the series can move. It would just be great if this 3D version is done well and better than the last 3D debacle they released.

and as for being into portable gaming .. if I see old women, middle aged men, and kids playing psps/ds on the Marunochi Line I guess it is safe to say that portable gaming still counts

.. that's what i'm talking about. Still, it's kind of impossible (it's like the FF7 remake issue). The team that made that game was disbanded, broke up, some left EA for other jobs, and what not ... so it's next to impossible to bring everyone back together just to do one game.
..it's the same reason why most of us might never see a FF 7 remake.

As for UK Reviewers, they are tough on games from the west; period. Not sure why but looking back on a lot of games made here reviewed by places like eurogamer.com, they have get shafted hard. Well, it's legal to have a point, but it doesn't mean we have to listen if we don't want to.
... I wasnt' feeling GT5 for a long time, and I did not bother with that wannabe download that they called a game. The final product, with all the time and effort put into, looks promising ... you never know.
... but you're forewarned .. Titan mode is a beast!! Even if you don't have a ps3 but you have friends who have the game, you owe it to yourself to experience the first 15mins of the game.
