"We can also keep our paid content should we have our console stolen or lost."
That is news to me. When did this happen?
As far as I know, you can't do that unless you contact Nintendo's customer service, and even then, it's not a guarantee. :/
Of course not. He's bound to die someday.
Purchases have been tied to the account on the Wii U ever since launch.
The problem is that accounts remain tied to the hardware.

Then you missed out BIG TIME, pal.
Thanks for the reply! I really don't understand how people can disagree with a QUESTION...
Can someone clarify to me what this "spring" release means? I live in a country where spring doesn't exist, and upon googling it, it seems like spring season may be in different months depending if you're in the northern hemisphere (march, april, may) or in the southern one (september, october, november). The fact that this "spring" release was suposedly confirmed by Nintendo's GERMAN manager only makes it more confusing to me.
Help? :(
I would like to see some actual Wii U footage. So far, everything we've seen about Project Cars has been running on PC, which obviously will output insane graphics.
Neither Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblen nor Yarn Yoshi have release dates at all. Everything else you listed is correct, though.
You mean Mario 3D World, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros for Wii U / 3DS, X and Bayonetta 2?
Yeah, Nintendo didn't show anything at E3 this year, you're totally right. /s
For once, someone that aknowledges the validity of different types of games, even if they're not their particular cup of tea. I tip my hat to you, sir.
That said, Mario Kart and Smash are pretty traditional Nintendo games. :P
Everything else you listed, not so much.
Having played and beaten both Wonderful 101 and Zombi U, I can say that they definitely are pretty damn original games, with a lot of fresh ideas thrown at them.
X, I don't know, because it's not out yet. Judging by the couple of trailers already released for it, it seems like it will play very similar to Xenoblade Chronicles, which was an amazing game with a lot of gameplay elements that felt pretty fresh compared to the majority of JRPGs out there.
So, you call him out for making assumptions, yet you admit that you don't have a Wii U... how do you know for a fact that 3D World plays it too safe, then?
>_>
I liked GTAV more than Last of Us.
That said, unlike you, I'm aware that my OPINION may not be the same as other people's.
And if someone thinks TLOU was better, who the hell are you to tell them their OPINION is wrong, and yours right?
Ridiculous fanboy much?
Same here. I consider myself a pretty knowledgeable gamer, especially regarding Nintendo's history, bit this is still a pretty hard question. It must've been hell for that poor lady.
I knew about the taxis and the love hotels, but that's it. I would've guessed that rice was the other business Nintendo tried, because rice is a very traditional food for asians, and Nintendo is an asian company.
(Insert "that's racist!" comment here).
So, I would've went with baseball gloves as the answer, and been correct out of dumb luck.
2013 has been very black and white for Wii U owners.
The first half? Awful.
The second half? Awesome.
I hope game releases are more evenly spaced for 2014.
Whoah. No mention of Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros Wii U - 3DS, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze or Monolith Soft's X?
I know this list is limited to 15 choices, but come on... South Park and Mad Max before any of these games...?
But... neither the PS4 nor Xbox One are out in Japan yet.
:P
Well, you know what, Pachter? I...
...
Nah, too easy.
You're nitpicking. You, like everyone else, know perfectly well what the author of the article meant to say with that headline.
