At E3, Tecmo said the game was running at 40% so it'll look way better than Gears 2 when it actually comes out. Right now, it looks like crap and the game might inevitably be crap if its only been in development for a little over a year. Still, we won't know anythg until the game actually comes out so anyone leaving comments like Quantum Theory> Gears 1 and 2 this early could go suck it. I mean c'mon, the fact that we're even comparing it to Gears just shows how successful the Gears franch...
Im comparing them because there both THIRD-PERSON SHOOTERS that are coming out on the PS3 around the same time. Uve never seen anyone make a comparison before? It's done quite often on this site with various consoles and games. U should try it one day :D

Anyways, Im happy PS3's getting more exclusives, whether Quantum Theory will be AAA is STILL in question since we've barely seen any gameplay(mezzo). However, from what Ive seen, Lost Planet 2 looks like a far more intriguing TPS. Am I the only one who saw that huge lizard boss?? WOW...

Agreed. Rockstar could really take advantage of that Blu-Ray disk and make the GTA world bigger,better, and more interactive than San Andreas ever was while maintaining great graphics. Not tryin ta diss 360 only owners, but I thk everyone can agree that the game would be better if it was made from the ground up for the PS3 as opposed to being multiplatform only because of the higher capacity of the blu-ray disk as opposed to a regular dvd disk. Either way, Agent shuld satisfy my GTA fix for 2...
Exactly...but the gaming public plays a huge role too cause they keep buyin Activision's crap. Its not like Activision is putting a gun to peoples heads to buy these peripherals.
I agree, Killzone 2 is way more satisfying than Gears 2 was in both campaign AND MOST DEFINETLY online multiplayer. Its sad that 360 only owners say stuff sucks just because its on PS3. I bet if Warhawk was a 360 exclusive id be the most played downloadable game on that stinkin system, guaranteed.
Killzone 2 is the best online multiplayer ive ever played in an FPS. Uncharted 2 does stand a better chance because its more recent. Co-op AND Competitive Multiplayer is insane. I dont thk ill get MW2 cause im OVERLY satisfied with KZ2, but I wuldnt count out Modern Warfare 2. It may not have the graphics but the gameplay seems really over the top maybe more so than KZ2 even. IDK, ill make my mind up when IW rolls out more multiplayer vids.

ICO, Shadow of the Colossus,Beyond Good and Evil,GTA4 are great too. Storywise MGS is second to none but as an overall game id take MW2 or Conviction any day. No fanboyism here, but Sam Fisher is wayyy cooler than Solid Snake and the only reason people say otherwise is because Snakes been around longer and people dont like change.
Yeah, I agree with Kurisu. Infamous was a little overrated IMO. But Killzone 2 alone made 2009 worth it for me!
True, yet for some reason more people buy 360 exclusives. I agree the PS3 has great titles and Killzone 2 is GOTY so far IMO, but why are u acting like 360 isn't doing anythg significant? As much as people scream "Uncharted 2 rocks and 360 sucks" , we all know more people will get Halo:ODST as opposed to Uncharted 2. Still gettin em both though

Until the PSP supports DIVX AND XVID it aint worth it. I wouldnt buy one if it was 100 bucks.

Sony's tryin ta do to MS what MS did to them last year which is stealing the year with a sudden price drop in Q4. Not gunna happen...the 360 will sell more than the PS3 this year, then again who cares. We got Uncharted 2!!
