I signed the boycott sheet, but I'm feelin the pressure from friends. I pre-ordered Bad Company 2 yesterday, so if I don't get MW2, the beta should keep me busy.
Regardless of what PS3 fanboys say, Valve's right. The 360 online community does spend more money and most of them use mics(mostly due to the fact that the 360 comes with a mic).
Plus the 360 community supports their exclusives better:
Halo:ODST(called an "expansion pack" by PS3 fanboys)- 2 million sold on day one.

I don't thk this is a surprise at all. With all the customization and ridiculous options IW gives the gamer, the only thing that surprises me is that it didn't get a 6/5.

Yeah I was plannin on gettin a 360 this year. But ur right. There isn't much of a point anymore. With the possiblility of L4D2 and Conviction making the jump, I really don't need a 360. Microsoft ill have ta have Wi-fi and 1 year gold membership out of the box before I even think of ever buying a 360 again.
@JTX- U do know that the PS3 is the lead console for AC2 right? If it's slightly better on either console, it'll be better on the PS3.

I have a friend whose "defecting' on Christmas. And I know another who lost his 360 in a house fire and already paid for his MW2 bundle at Gamestop. Tried ta convince him ta get a PS3, but he wouldn't listen. Oh well.

I agree. But the reason KZ2 wasn't as successful as it was supposed to be was primarilly Sony's fault for hyping it to be the next coming of God. Ur completely right that graphics really don't mean squat. Its all about long-lasting fun and polished gameplay. I enjoyed Killzone 2 for several months but I haven't played it since September. COD4 on the other hand ive been playing for 2 YEARS and it hasn't gotten old.
Yep, if Sony ACTUALLY markets it right then I don't see why it couldn't be. There best bet is too put this in movie theaters. A commercial spot would be too short to get the point across of what this game is.
