OMG, the Bad Company 2 beta, now THIS! This is starting a trend, im SOO happy I have a PS3! We all knew this would happen, in due time, ALL multiplats will be better on the PS3 and have exclusive things on the PS3. Developers are realizing the potential in the PS3 and how to use it to their advantage. Not trying ta hate on the 360, but I thk(with the exception of COD) that it will lose its edge in multiplats very soon.
@ZBlacktt- Ur talking about POTENTIAL, which is totally different. Blu-ray NO QUESTION has more potential than DVDs, but im saying that DVDs haven't been maxed out yet. Look at Alan Wake, look at Splinter Cell: Conviction. The fact that Alan Wake looks so damn close to Uncharted 2(in its alpha stage and on a DVD format) is VERY impressive and shows that it IS possible to have graphics that equal or even surpass Uncharted 2 on the 360.

Yes, as a PS3 owner, I agree that this looks WAYY better than heavy rain on a graphics standpoint and its more impresive than Uncharted 2. The way those tress moved in the wind WOW. First time ive seen somethg like that in a videogame.
I thk Remedy figured it out. Anyone who thks EITHER the PS3 or 360 is maxed out is dead wrong.

What may be overrated for you maybe be much more significant to another person, hence Modern Warfare 2's ridiculously high sales despite others screaming over-rated.

Neither. They are getting exactly what they deserve from critics IMO.
The only FACT we know is this:
The PS3 version of Modern Warfare 2 has a metacritic average of 96(same as Uncharted 2 BTW). To me another person's opinion means nothing to me, but to others, this may determine what to purchase. U can't necessarily PROVE one game is BETTER than the other because its based on personal opinion.

I felt the same way about Uncharted 2. There were at least 10 articles on that game each day in the month of October. The main reason I chose not to buy it was because I heard about it so much, I didn't want it anymore. Same deal with MW2. All I care about now is the Bad Company 2 beta and AC2.
WOW, M$ is making banned people buy new Live accounts now. Devious, yet smart at the same time. The pirates can't protest since their STEALING and they broke the terms of service.
This isn't a diss or a fanboy comment but I thk IWs next project may be a PS3 exclusive. Thk about it. How much more juice do ya thk they can squeeze out of the 360? With the exception of Guerilla Games, no one can touch IW as far as the best developers for shooters. If IW wants to compete with Killzone 3, I thk it may be best to use the Cell and the Cell only.
When Bad Company 2 comes out, EVERYONE will have to step up their game. For me Bad Company 2 will do for FPS what Unc...

I expect 8-10 hours at least for campaign.
Anythg under 7 hours is a rental unless it has a great multiplayer like Modern Warfare 2. The length of MW2's campaign is a disgrace IMO, but people need to keep in mind that 90% of the people who buy MW2 buy it for MULTIPLAYER not the SP. Remember, the original Modern Warfare's campaign was short as hell too, that didn't stop it from being GOTY 2007 or selling buttloads.

Proly yeah, ive never seen people go this crazy over a game before. Halo 3 came close but this is just on another level because its a MULTIPLAT.

It's brand new for people like me who never owned COD4. I don't have the game yet, but I'm excited to get it soon. As far as people who have played the hell outta COD4 for the past 2 years, I can't speak for them.
4 friends of mine are have been fans of COD since the first Modern Warfare and they said this one was AMAZING and it feels more intense and fast-paced.
@WMV- I have to disagree with u on just about everythg uve said. Alan Wake not only looks better than Uncharted 1 but has better physics than Uncharted 1. Want proof? Look at part 2 of the just released trailer. Look at the way the trees move in the tornado. Ive never seen physics done so well in a videogame in my life. Also, the tirewarks in the mud look photorealistic. It looks almost real to me.
