That's a taste thing I've played all of both of them. I'd say Gears stacks pretty good compared to Uncharted. In fact I mean we all know the first Uncharted was decent but was no masterpiece. 2 and 3 were the best. All 3 Gears games weren't just good they were great. There are a lot parallels between the series though. How they flesh out the personalities of the characters with banter throughout the levels. I've had a blast with both series really but I can honestly say if...
Yeah....we played different games.
The PS4 can do it and Sony has engineers smart enough to make it happen. They just don't want to do it. The fan base isn't pushing for it and they are going along with their streaming plans. Even at the cost of losing all the digital content you paid for last gen when PS3 stops being produced and supported by PSN. I just don't get how everyone thought so hard for consumer rights against the XB1 but will let Sony off without even trying to give consumers an option to utilize their ...
The way its done on Xbox it almost feels like a event when they announce a new game on Back Compat. I'm sitting here right now playing through Dead Space for the first time since 2008. The game holds up so damn well. I do remember being amazed at the graphics back then which now are pretty standard. Still these were HD games made for HD TVs so the Ps2 being played on PS3 argument is not the same thing. Still I'm having a blast doing my Hard difficulty run and finishing up the games ac...
I'm really looking forward to this. I wish that damn Ratchet and Clank trilogy for Vita would go on sale someday. I've never seen it. They put Jak and Daxter and Sly Cooper Collection on sale all the time.
just finished it an hour ago. What a great game and it looks like they want to do a sequel. "I'll come back for you" Effin A!! Lets do this. I still want Alan Wake 2 though. Man whats coming at E3? My score 9/10. What a roller coaster.
Haha Alan Wake immediately comes to mind. It's not a lake its an ocean. Cmon Digital Codes. Time for a replay.
To this day one of the most painful things in that game is Aeris's death. They make it easy for your character to fall in love with her so it hurts even more when she dies. That and his relationship with Tifa are huge themes that continue right on into the movie. FF7 Crisis core also has the love story with Zack and Aeris. We'll just have to agree to disagree.
Yeah but this is a TPS a walking simulator is nothing but walking. Firewatch and Rapture are the truest of walking simulators. You walk in this but your walking to your next gunfight, story part etc. Your review is overall positive I just don't agree with that part.
Eghh so I'm really getting a FF with no love interest. I don't know what it is but that takes some of the spice out of it. My favorites things about FF7, FF8, FF9 and FF10 were those love stories and how they effected things. Even if your not sappy most of the best stories involve a girl and a boy. Final Fantasy: Entourage Sausage Fest Bro Bonding Edition. I'm still going to at least play it but man this is dissapointing.
Exactly. All I can remember was tapping the A button to open the elevator.
I'm in the final act and aside from pressing a to open a door once or twice I don't remember any QTE.
Finishing up this game right now and man has it not disappointed me in any way. I don't get how this guy can call it a walking simulator its nothing like Everybody's Gone To Rapture or Firewatch (which I completed and loved). The TPS parts of this game are intense firefights where you have to stay on the move and use all of your powers to survive. Once you get used to using the powers in tandem they are a blast. The shining star here though as always with Remedy games is the narrative...

Lol within the last 30 seconds my cousin playing Quantum Break just jumped up to the bathroom and said "Man this game is so good, its so well made". I agree with him completely. I never had any doubt they would create a great game. I did however have doubt that the TV show part would be anything other then cheaply made. We were both very pleasantly surprised at how good the first episode was and how much it felt like a TV pilot and how it all ties together. Man I love Remedy.
Having mixed but mostly positive reactions is blowing up in their face? I believe in Remedy they have always made games and crafted worlds that I have enjoyed. That told stories I have enjoyed. Ever since I was in high school playing Max Payne on my PS2. They have never made a bad game they've never even made just a good game. I've had this game preordered for 2 months and have full faith in them. They have the balls to experiment and try something new, some will like it some wont.
I got american nightmare a couple of weeks ago but we don't get Alan Wake until a week after launch I'm looking forward to playing through it again. Man when people say BC is unneccessary they forget that these games still look and play pretty damn good. BC and all of these preorder bonuses having been great.
Surely you see a difference between ps2/og Xbox to PS3/Xbox 360 and 360/PS3 gen to current. Ps2 games looked horrible in comparison to hd generation graphics. The leap this time was much smaller.
Go google how well Uncharted 3 sold against Gears of War 3 then come back.
haha that is emotional resonance.
