I'm excited we have a new console generation for all consoles coming. The thing that always bothered me was. Last gen pretty much ushered in HD TV's and Blu Ray's. This gen the consoles started out underpowered as 4k was just about to begin. Compared to last gen this gen felt almost lame duck.This feels right.

Most people don't care about the 900p versus 1080p. The people who care the most are the ones that don't have or want the console. The performance differences between the two consoles have truly been negligible at best. Literally nothing game changing. It's always just been hype. I just finished platinuming the Nathan Drake Trilogy in preparation of Uncharted 4. I wanted a refresher before the finale. I have to say I always thought 2 was the benchmark but this time i actually had slightly more fun with Uncharted 3. They just dialed those set pieces to 11. The capsizing ship, riding on horseback through the desert in caravan, getting sucked out of the plane climbing back in just to be sucked out of the side without a parachute. Gold.
If they had bit the bullet and gave us internal memory instead of the highway robbery that was the price of the cards. Proud owner of the 64 GB card here but not so proud I paid $100 for it. Just having 16 gb of internal memory with the ability to expand would have made it so much more accessible.

Yeah I don't understand the dashboard critique. Is it that hard to read? It's all right there and flows. The dash feels alive and linked socially to the world. The only thing I miss is my monthly achievement leaderboard being pinned on community.

They are still patching no doubt. There could be all kinds of problems playing the vanilla version. Any body whos walked through floor and invisible doors in Fallout or had save corruption problems will tell you that. Guess we'll see if people really get to play it early.
@yeahokwhatever Yeah I went directly from 3 to 4 and the difference is astounding. Even going back to play The Last of Us the other day it looked almost cartoonish in comparison. Naughty Dog squeezed the juice out of PS4 in a way only a 1st party developer can. If that's capable now who knows what the next gen will look like.
