I never even thought about it. I did notice he used a surface and everyone had a windows phone but its their game why not? Sony products appear in stuff. Yoshi was all over MGS remake. Who cares?
That game was awesome. Play it on hard it makes you work for weapons and use the gunpowder. If you want access to better weapons you have to put your resources on the line and take down nemesis so he would drop briefcases. You had to be able to move to fight against an enemy like Nemesis. The fact that he could show up and chase you anywhere really added to it. I'll always believe RE2 was the best but man was RE3 a blast.
Because it wasn't a Resident Evil game. It was an action game with the name Resident Evil. It abandoned everything that made Resident Evil. It's a great game and I love 5 and the co op action it brought but when Resident Evil stopped feeling like Resident Evil was RE4. Hands down.
I view 1-2 as sacred. 2's evolution of gameplay was just hard to deny. SSO was way more fun then the last Infamous though. Infamous Second Son was just a disappointment. The bar was set so high with 1 and 2 then with Second Son we have a boring Seattle (Boring compared to Empire City and New Marais) and a protagonist that wasn't going to one up Cole McGrath. I hope we get a proper sequel to 2 someday.
Sunset Overdrive played nothing like Infamous. I'm wondering if you've even played it since you call it that. Cole could grind on powerlines but that's really all he did. The only thing the games really have in common is that they are TPS's. Sunsets fighting system owes more to THPS and their previous game with an variety of weaponry Ratchet and Clank then anything. You guys try to hard to make anything and everything a console debate. I bought my PS4 at launch so I could play...
Oy that scarface soundtrack in 8 bit.
This system stands as my 2nd favorite of all time. The main reason is because of the rise of co op gaming with Xbox live and the memories I have from that that live to this day.
Damn so much time was spent on StarFox 64 in my childhood. *sigh*
This is probably the most genuine fun I had with a single player campaign since the new gen started. It was just a fun ride.
Actually looking at the spectrum of what they did with the story it is the better story I think. There are so many threads woven in this game. Especially with all the time travel and it all fits together really really well. The narrative is flawless honestly. TLOU is a great game but the story telling is pretty basic kinda like The Walking Dead. Put people in a post apocalyptic setting and see how they react. That's what makes it work. Sam Lake is a damn good writer I knew it with Alan Wa...
This game is divisive that's just all there is to it. It is a narrative driven TPS and the narrative is strong but well done. People keep comparing it to Uncharted but Uncharted is a TPS with a paper thin narrative but still it just works. The Last Of Us is a closer comparison because gameplay wise its a pretty simple TPS with basic mechanics doesn't really do anything new but tells an Amazing story in a fascinating environment. At the end of the day unless you played it yourself don&...
Ditto.
Eh I'm fine with the fact that this game is divisive. At this point its clear it works for a lot of people and doesn't work for some. I personally would give the game at least a 9. It tried something different and I feel it worked well. It all depends on the person it seems.
.....smh. I really hope they bring some forward thinking to how they manage digital licensing and their online space next gen. They waited way to long to embrace online and have been playing catch up ever since. I would love it if NX had SNES type variety and 3rd party suppor but seriously if the first thing we have to do after buying an NX is repurchase all of our VC content. At this point that is a fail.
You can argue this point till your face is blue the Wii U has largely been a flop. The Dreamcast has way way way more support and as such had a large and varied library of games. Sega did damage to their brand during the Saturn/32X era and decided to cut their losses. Sega made huge HUUUUUGE mistakes but the Dreamcast was not one of them. Nintendo has had the 3DS to keep them afloat this gen and a large amount of capital due to them being the longest running game company in the business but i...
The Wii U was not the modern Dreamcast. It had some damn good gems but the Dreamcast had a huge and varied library of games. I still have a folder full of them. The Wii U was unfortunately largely abandoned by 3rd party developers. A shame but hopefully NX takes them back to the SNES days of developer relations. Then again Nintendo has a long way to go towards delivering the kind ecosphere that Xbox Live and PSN offer.
Sony did the same thing last when PS3 was behind. It's not uncommon for a company to do this. The only one that always released the info win or lose was Nintendo.
Fear Effect ...teenage me chilling eating a papa johns pizza till i walk up on Rain in that ...torture device. That and Hana being in that towel throughout the entire level of the first game. Oy. I thought these games were awesome aside from some very cheap insta deaths and man that reload bar. They were never on par with RE at the time but they were great Dark and Twisty games. Matter fact they need to re release these digitally kickstarter that.
I really wish they had waited to release the PC version. All these tech issues are dragging now perceptions of a great game.
I was never really too weary about the season passes then this past weekend i bought Arkham Knight Season pass on sale for 13.00 dollars. Then I played the Red Hood story with Black Mask and it was over in literally 5 minutes. The same thing for that Harley Quinn pre order bonus. I'm still playing through and right now the Batgirl one seems longer but I mean how hard is it to add content when you already had an entire city built to play in. They should have been able to very easily and wi...
