COD's system is nice with how they have unlockables. Really makes you work towards something each game. I love that. However, besides that Halo 3 has a better online experience imo. The party system is par none, forge and theater are just amazing.

I believe they pull a call of duty in that they switch studios every other. So it makes sense if you enjoyed the 1st/3rd, and disliked the 2nd/double agent.
