Yeah and some details have been removed/replaced like buildings in the distance or the the tarnished wall with that banner. Also one image in the og had cracked, dilapidated tile and instead of that war-torn look they just put in a blanket, repeating pattern. That said the character models are vastly improved and the remaster looks much, much better in motion.
Definitely much more impressed with this remaster than God of wars. But the Uncharted Collection beats both hands down... But Gears will have mp. Pros & cons I guess.
One of rare times I'm actually impressed by one of these remasters. Maybe because there's actually been a substantial amount of time since its original release unlike most. Either way looks great.
Yeah ReCore definitely got my attention during MS last E3 conference. Additionally the improvements to Quantum Break and the potential of Crackdown 3(loved the original) is hard for me to ignore.
Damn, this looks really good. GoW:UE, SSO, and this are tempting me towards picking up an Xbone finally.
Yeah I had almost zero interest in Until Dawn till recently, and I don't really dabble in the horror genre that much. But I've watched a handful of trailers that have really piqued my interest, the impact of your decisions resonates with genuine consequences, and I'm excited to play it and see how other gamers story's evolve.
Ya wow I must admit, I wasn't very impressed with this game until now. What an improvement!
Pretty sure it's Black Marsh.
I'm personally hoping for Valenwood, trees so large the bosmer built cities in them! Also High Rock/Summerset Isles would make sense for plot progression
Jesus... Madden surprised me this year! That was underwhelming, even by Madden standards! Honestly, I'm damn tired of this. Someone needs to be able to challenge EA with the NFL licence, that's the only way to fix this shit.
These screen aren't nearly good enough to make that comparison yet. I love both these franchises but that GoW3 "remaster" looks more like a port (which is still nice but c'mon). If this turns just as disappointing in improvements, then yeah $40 is still too much. The MCC set a new precedent, I really wish remastered collections were coming for both these franchises, Oh well
Impressive score! It's soo refreshing for a developer to have confidence in their game and not ban reviews until AFTER release.
Lol well that should hold you over
I'm pro Sony but if nothing changes between now and the hollidays MS easily has the better lineup. But E3 is right around the corner, and multiplats like MGSV, Batman, the Witcher, and the Division all look to be great games.
I personally love the DS4, but the thumbsticks on my launch controller disintegrated in just a few months. Bought a new one probably 4 months after launch and it has been flawless, practically no wear. I figured Sony already substituted the launch material, but it seems others are still having some problems.
See a lot of people having issues with battery life. My trick, just leave your console in rest most and plug in your controller while you're gone for the day. Then wh...
I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss those games, Bethesda is after all, holding their own conference for the first time. Clearly they think they can/should compete with the likes of Ubi and EA.
Yeah co-op with full world exploration would be awesome. The MMO was the worst move Bethesda could have made with the franchise. I'd love to see a teaser too, but over an actual gameplay demonstration of FO4, no way.
Yep that'd be perfect, but I'm still hoping for the collection MCC style.
That'd be sweet man, if Sony lets you stream PS4 games via PS Now I'm in don't give a damn about the fee.
Huh? People talk fanboyism but if its so obvious that the Gears remaster is superior to the God of War remaster (which I agree with) why can't people see that the Uncharted Collection is easily the most impressive of the three? Quick! Your hypocrisy is showing.
