Exactly, which is why I'm a little disappointed bugs/glitches are still so pervasive. But yeah every location I find is so massive and so detailed I feel like I'll never see it all, but I'm gonna try anyway haha.
Same, I tried numerous times to get into Fallout 3, probably 10-15 hrs was the farthest I ever got, just couldn't stay engaged. Whats weird is I loved all the Elder Scroll games. So far I'm loving Fallout 4, put 10 hrs in in just 2 days. Love the crafting system, majorly improved gunplay, and Boston is one of the best open worlds I've explored in a while.
I agree, but I'm glad they got you into the wasteland asap. Fallout shines when the player is free to do what they please, and the vault obviously is pretty limited.
Woah this is really awful quality, and old. If anyone wants to see a better representation of the final product intends to be theres plenty to check out on youtube. Seriously do yourself a favor.
@DarkOcelet Totally agree man, the 360 version is quite impressive. I've been considering grabbing an XB1 recently for this and GoW: UE. But guess I can hold off a little longer now as I just picked up the original 360 Gears. Still wanna play SSO but its not going anywhere.
Great read, very funny. But also too true, all reasons noted contribute to my lack of interest in most FPS's.
Heavenly Sword definitely deserves a sequel, I have a friend who rarely plays games but she Loves Heavenly Sword. As much as I personally enjoyed HS, it made me realize female protagonists are important for relatiblilty. Looking forward to Hellblade.
Platinum games, Game Director: "No, no, no! He needs more douche!" Scalebound has potential but that main character is lame.
There can be if the content is just a bunch of filler missions or extremely repetitive, that's why the Assassin's Creed games bore me to death. Thankfully I highly doubt that'll be an issue with FO4.
I like gears but I won't try to and obviously can't convince the willfully ignorant. The gears remaster is a nice addition to the xbone collection, but TLoU is a true masterpiece. Carry on ostriches, carry on.
Whoa, whoa, whoa...
You think obvious facts will persuade an xbot? C'Mon have a little sense.
Kidding aside, Gears is also one of my favorite franchises of all time, but acting like this game isn't 10 years old is naive.
Agreed, I refuse to read this but it's good to know it's a possibility. However now when someone dies in my game (and I'm guessing multiple will lol) it's gonna cause me to question my decisions that much more.
I'm still hesitant to pick this up. I've watched some streams and have been wholly underwhelmed. Almost identical presentation, almost identical game modes, negligible visual improvements, and literally the same commentary. But all these reviews keep coming in claiming the overhauled passing system is a this huge "game changer" I'm no conspiracy theorist, but this seems a bit fishy... I'm just gonna give it a rental I guess, and see for myself before I dish out anoth...
Its still a 10 year old game. One of my all time favorites, BUT it is the same levels, same plot, same unrefined 10 year old gameplay (compared to Gow3). A higher res and nostalgia can only carry you so far. Gears 4 will be much accurately rated, being that its being developed for the current MS platform and can draw from all the previous games for help. GoW: UE appears to be an excellent remaster, but it still has to be compared with its contemporaries and the current gaming landscape when r...
Mad Max
Just Cause 3
The Division
Assassin's Creed: Syndicate
Crackdown 3
saved you a click
@Dragonking81 that'd be pretty much my list too, just add Crackdown. Horizon is my most anticipated game period
Last gen ND and GG upped expectations with KZ2 and UC2 in the same year 2009. That feat will be achieved once more in 2016 with Horizon and UC4 for the PS4.
That was lame. Why'd they release this?
This game appears to be a love/hate type experience. Regardless I'm intrigued by the branching story and dynamic consequences so I'm probably gonna grab me a copy soon.
I don't like COD or Assassin's Creed very much, due to negligible improvements and series fatigue. But my god! Madden takes the the cake. I love football but I won't be picking this garbage up any time soon, and it'll be used if I do so EA doesn't see a dime. Gotta speak with the wallet ya know.
What happened to PS Plus. Damn.
