Finally getting an XBO tomorrow. Comes with Gears UE, RotTR, and choice of a new free game. Considering this or Quantum Break. Any recommendations? Just realized Forza Horizon 3 releases tomorrow, probably going with that.
@gamingisnotacrime It's not the halo 5 bundle and your game of choice, just your game of choice i.e. Choose your game bundle. However the Halo bundle is a good deal too including both H5 and the MCC. This just gives the consumer more options, which is definitely a plus.
Well if you have a PS4, it was just given as a PS+ game free of charge. Given your level of skepticism it appears you've already made up your mind, but if not you've got nothing to lose. It truly is a special title.
I'm officially going into shutdown mode for any new Horizon trailers/info. I've seen enough to know this game will be exceptional and a day 1 for me. I want to preserve as much of that "new" feeling as possible
Agreed, the Pro price is perfect but man it would have been the killing blow if Sony had announced the Slim at $199-$249. Would have made the Pro appear as even more of a premium version too imo.
Huge surprise! Haven't upgraded my TV (1080p was plenty) in 7 years, that's about to change.

@Ziggurcat I was down for about 3 hrs. It's reassuring to know the issue isn't on your end. Everything I'd ever digitally downloaded locked up at one point like the liscencing had failed. I'm glad I could locate a group of similarly affected individuals here on N4G, it's not just about you.
Try Journey, you won't regret it. You can beat it in one sitting if you want, I'd even recommend doing so.
Nemesis system is incredible. It's a shame it hasn't been implemented in more titles. However I'm really excited for LOTF, considered picking it up several times and I already platinumed SoM

This is why I've started buying Madden every other year. Feels a lot fresher with 2 years of improvement, as opposed to a $60 roster update.

While all the hardware talk has been "super interesting" games still matter most, and Sony absolutely crushed it with the line up they showcased at E3.
I think you're spot on, based on playing the beta and campaign footage I've seen I'm expecting the game to get knocked for not innovating enough/playing it too safe and series fatigue will bring the meta down. But Gears is still awesome and it's gameplay is some of the most satisfying out there. Meta will be 84-89
