Dude terrific review! Some of the most eloquent diction I've witnessed in gaming journalism. And I'm not just saying this due to the score. The way his review expounded on the scope and tone of this game really got me hyped.
Damn. this game is receiving loads of great scores, but whattaya know this articles getting all the attention.
Damn these scores are hot! I got my pre-order payed in full at game stop, but they're not holding a midnight launch. Wal-Marts sounding pretty tempting right about now.
Idk man I've been watching some streams on twitch via my PS4 and even though they've really ramped up my hype level after not being completely sold, I wasn't expecting such atrocious load times. The game appears to be absolutely cutthroat and EVERY time you die you have to sit through a 45sec-1 min pause. It breaks immersion and when I'm seething from defeat for the 5-6th time those load screens are gonna be pretty annoying.

Disappointing. On the other hand I might buy this if I didn't already have it for my PS3. Also you'd think there'd be more than one game considering all the collections SSM put out last gen like GOW3 and Ascension would have been much more tempting.
Wow this looks awesome!
Dude Hellboy would be awesome. Or even just Ron Pearlman lol
That made me laugh pretty hard too, but the author has a point. The series could use some more non-human type characters.
And when Sony enacts their price cut this holiday season, expect black Friday tramplings to sky rocket!
@Jaqen_Hghar thanks for the info good sir, I definitely dug films like Army of Darkness and Tucker and Dale vs Evil so I'll keep my reservations but I'm certainly a bit more intrigued.
Why are people so excited for this game? Honestly, I'm asking anyone who wants to explain. Isn't it based on the most cliche horror narrative " A group of teenagers are on spring break/camping/throwing a party etc..."
No reason I'd want Quantum Break to be delayed. Like ND is doing I hope Remedey commits the development time necessary to achieve their vision. That said I'm pretty damned bummed UC4 is getting delayed.
Wierd... I almost always purchase the physical copy for my games, and I rarely play multiplayer in games but somehow No Man's Sky is one of my most anticipated games. It's almost like you made a sweeping and brazenly ignorant comment to subtly augur your biased agenda.
I'm so fucking sick of these pissing contests. When did a slight res advantage become the most important aspect to discuss in the gaming community. It will make almost no difference in the overall gaming experience. Can't blame the media for pumping out these incendiary articles, when gamers continue to flock to them. And for what? Bragging rights? "Nah nah nah I bought the right console!" Christ, these companies don't care about you!
Lol that killed me man, thank you.
@MiyamotoSon yeah that sums it up lol
@lemon2play Damn you're tough to please man. I'm assuming you mean on PS4's plus offerings, but even still if I'm not mistaken last 2 months PS4 got First Light, Transistor(both of which I'd prefer over Rayman), Apotheon, and The Swapper.
I loved the first two fables. The first two games possessed a unique charm and the world's lionhead crafted were a joy to explore. Since then the series just stopped evolving and quality descended immensely to match. The problems that were covered up or acceptable at the time of release for the first two iterations i.e. watered down rpg elements, deceivingly linear environments, mediocre combat were never adequately corrected or in fact worsened in the third game and on. I also felt the n...
For a medium that many people want to claim as "art" I find it incredibly amusing that the optics employed by the media, the people responsible in molding public perception have issued the resounding statement. "If you deviate from the modern archetype of gaming, prepared to be shit on!"
Lol bummer usually the game stop employees will ask me which console I prefer when preordering anything, EVEN exclusives. Always assumed they were obligated to ask, now I'm worried they're just typically clueless.
