SE haven't shown what they are capable of yet on the PS3 with XIII being multiplatform. Also the luminous engine looks good so i say maybe couple more games.
Not everyone can afford a Vita so 2 Monster hunter games is enough time for you to enjoy before getting a Vita.

The thing is if Nintendo treat some of these ip's like their main IP's then it would be better. You won't hear of Sony not releasing a game in another region the way Nintendo did with Xenoblade and co.

Have you played the demo because it was far from that.Here you have 15 playable characters with different strengths and playstyles. You can also control the summons so trust me there will be plenty of strategy involved.
Crisis core was also one character which is why it may have seemed repetitive but you go into battle as a party in this and you can switch who you control.

Also it sold 107K here in the UK. UK is 360 land but it's still much smaller than NA so NA sales could be more than what Chartz is saying.

3G for me. I'm not going to be the one who regrets not getting a 3G version one when some games or apps that really benefit from it comes out. Plus Japan is getting 14MB speeds on it, so i hope we get something similar for a good price of course.
Even Ruin's social features already benefit from the 3G version from what the producer said in TGS. I think think people should not dismiss it straight away.
Piracy had a huge part to do with the weak software sales.
Take Dissidia the most pirated PSP game. Sold 2 million but it has 5 million torrent downloads. 5 Million! and thats just torrents, not to talk of warez sites.
Even If only half of the people who downloaded it bought it, it would have sold 4.5 Million copies.
