The choice really is much better... being forced to "go to the station for charges" is infe(a)rior and inconvenient, especially with rechargeable battery life that's so bad it forces having to worry about that practically EVERY DAY.
It is wonderful never worrying about "charges", and it looks much better not having an ugly console because of Medusa cabling dongles on faceplates daily, if the only charge ports you have are on the front of your console. ...

I think all the tech Microsoft is working on is FAR better than anything Sony is doing (or ever could hope to do, considering their insignificant position in the world of technology); however, I think Sony's flip up design of the Morpheus headgear could be a must have feature for VR, if it works well.

I actually thought about editing that to read "putting a majority of their money" though then I thought that it would be obvious that is what I meant... obviously it is impossible to believe they put *ALL* their money into that. Some people would say that the latest Battlefront trailer was near movie CGI quality rendered in real-time on consoles... obviously not anywhere close to the latest Avengers quality, though the new lighting\rendering tech they're using makes an AMAZING difference in quality from the previous gen.
A lot of lower budget sci-fi movies would do well with CGI quality as good as the Battlefront trailer.

It is generally only possible to notice the difference when sitting 1-2 foot away from a 23-27" monitor or 2-4 feet away from a 40-60" TV, plus someone would need a side by side comparison to be certain that they see the difference.

Exactly. They need to show some better lighting. All they've shown of Uncharted 4 so far is overcast, gloomy, dim, and dull looking that makes me think that's a limitation of using their last-gen engine for UC4... yet many act as if the graphics are amazing, as if simulated chest hair physics is more amazeballs than better lighting.

The XO controller doesn't require daily wiring Medusa dongles on faceplate or being forced to "go to the station for charges". I NEVER wire my controller, and I NEVER have to worry about remembering to put my controller on the charger... that's FAR...
Sony doesn't have any universal system in place for cross-play, nor are they working on "One", AFAIK.
Cross-play on PS4 means individual developers have to build support for it whereas Microsoft is building standardized ways to support cross-play, and I suppose Fable Legends will be first to use that model and show developers what's possible.

Sony is essentially trying to spin No Man's Sky as if it is a first party AAA because they're lacking AAAs in the second half of the year.
Sony's failure to deliver this holiday causes they need to promote an indie as AAA (that will then make Sony fans look like hypocrites from all the slighting they've done about Ori being "just an indie").
