That's a similar idea, though I think that's BACKWARDS.
NVIDIA is doing that with their SHIELD console also.
I'd prefer games not only stream to Windows from consoles (as will inevitably be the main option from daemonic OSes, such as the PS4 may eventual do with a streaming client on Windows).
I want games to load locally (when possible\practical, though stream if not) and run the same license on all Windows devices, while alway...
No matter how strong NX is, I expect Ms to release faster hardware soon after, once everything is in place for CrossTech to allow easy transitioning.
Recent news has announced the obvious that... Microsoft is going to "unify their play".
Windows is a given that I must have, and I don't want to buy other devices that can't do what I need Windows for.
Nintendo and others should produce for Microsoft's platform, IMO.
Everyone's computer in the world is much closer to being "a useless brick" when it goes offline, thus how obvious it is that Ms naysayers aren't very smart about the future of computers, especially since similar was true about electrical power.
Always online BSers appear as "retarded" (because they retard progress) as naysayers of electrical... "but my device becomes useless when the power goes out"... yeah, though more useless and fLAMER...
@Disagrees, I suppose there are those who think they're cool (rather than fLAMER) for believing "sick is excellent" and "bad ass" is good, while that etymologically means, "effeminate man ass" (#FACT!)... those must be the sorts that disagree with the new naming. Such as whoever named Sony "Bend"... people should study Significant clues about naming, such as "I love SONy" means <guess>, while "I love Ms" means <guess>...

"Over the past several weeks, we’ve listened to the feedback you’ve given in these forums and discussed how to support you with a better play experience.

I don't get the negativity towards the name Groove.
Spotify sounds like a doggy service, and Pandora obviously has an evil connotation to it.
Probably what I am noticing is how some people naysay anything Microsoft related.
When I heard the new name, the first thought I had was that Microsoft must have had to pay quite a few people already using the name Groove with products.
I think the main reason they changed from Xbox...
A game that was available on XO the first half of 2015, and another reason why I don't think Sony has anything the second half of 2015... because excellent remasters such as ODST and this one do not count as having anything to play. /s
In the video you linked, it is possible to see the latency of streaming between XO and Windows... it is FANtastically good.
As I said back when Microsoft first showed XO to Oculus streaming support, I think it is only a matter of time before they get Oculus head-tracking to work with XO streams for "full VR" of XO games streamed to Oculus.
Everyone mocking the "virtual theater" support appeared clueless, as if they're all casuals tha...
I like that you're questioning whether I am hypocritical... please point out any valid way you think that's true; however, until you provide an actual example of how you think I am perpetuating the problem, I will instead try to answer your question this way...
I don't think it is odd... I "chastise" those that I think use flawed BACKWARDS, hypocritical logic.
Your reply indicates to me that you must be suffering from being BACKWARDS... ...
The point I was making wasn't about how (reasonable the idea is that) the two companies can't match each other on all fronts.
My point was more about how people constantly insult ways that Microsoft should be regarded as winning a "battle" in the console "wars", such as with the negative BC SPIN, SPINNING the Elite controller as a negative, or all the many other bunches of BS against Ms, such as SPIN about how replaceable batteries that last many t...
Articles such as this and against BC really help make it obvious how those against Ms are what's worse for gaming.
As if premium game controllers, or even mice, haven't always been "high priced" and most without the sort of engineering that went into Microsoft's Elite controller, such as this Mad Catz mouse for around $150,

With Sony delaying their major holiday titles two years in a row (really three, if you count launch title delays), botching the SF4 release, losing their PS4 anniversary contest winners, forgetting to renew their Bloodborne trademark, and getting hacked AGAIN last year... their ambition should instead be to quit appearing disorganized and unable to deliver "#4theplayers".
If Bloodborne wasn't any good, I don't think people would be thinking PlayStation is at the top of their game.
Problems with many of their exclusive releases (such as botching SF4 recently), delays of their main holiday titles two years in a row, losing their PS4 anniversary contest winners, botching the renewal of their Bloodborne trademark, TLG looks dated and they headlined E3 with that, Shenmue is multiplat and far off, FF7 is multiplat and far off, the kickstarte...
You're BACKWARDS (thus the inevitable disagrees). Sony fans have went around to multiple sites this gen basically claiming "Xbox sucks", and they did that because Sony has been making their last stand, and practically everyone knows that stand is PlayStation.
PlayStation is now practically everything to Sony, and Sony fans are so dire that they will insult what's best for gaming as they slight BC, they will accept PS3 remasters as what headlines E3, they wi...
Warzone looks FANtastic.
@mikeslemonade, if you want a good lullaby, Tearaway Unfolded is coming out soon.
@Rookie_Monster, proof of bias is in the headlining article about how Batman on XO is supposedly broken... yet no one corroborates it, the "is the rumor true" is gauged at "hopefully" (fitting for N4G), and if that was a Sony article, you can bet it would have already been disapproved.
I think you're right... that's why I've long been saying that all the negative BSers towards Xbox are clueless.
Always online is required for properly allowing CrossTech, and all those glorifying disc investment hurt many gamers, because they won't be able to play those games remotely through streaming and other CrossTech, without inserting the disc.
In other words, I expect Windows PC\XO games to eventually stream to other PCs\XOs... how is...
I think HoloLens shows that holographic AR is here to stay.
As for Morpheus, I think Sony's flip up\down VR visor could be often copied and the much preferred design for VR headgear going forward, though that's difficult to say without actually trying it.
I think most people will prefer being able to quickly and easily see around them by flipping up the headgear... most other brands don't seem to be building theirs to support that, so maybe that w...
AMAZING, because it's great to watch how every argument against BC is idiotic, especially when BC games generally play better on XO... it's fun to watch people try to Negative Nancy it. People even say that Mass Effect generally runs better, even though it is also the one that has the most issues (reportedly being worked on).
It is also AMAZING for putting PS Now in its place, hopefully causing it to be less successful as people Realize how superior Ms DRM+CrossTech ...
The article is OK, and I appreciated the informative quote from Sony implying they won't ever support BC; however, I think the title is BACKWARDS... especially noticeable at this year's E3, Sony is all about making fans believe "Greatness Awaits", not Microsoft... Microsoft's E3 was about Greatness arriving all through the rest of this year into spring with ReCore, and the Greatness of BC was immediately possible to try, though I suppose greatness in terms of BC library ...
I don't suppose this should be tagged for Xbox One... at least, not until Microsoft enables streaming Windows 10 to XO.
