That helps explain how I've found Sony's upcoming exclusives to be graphically lackluster.
I've mentioned before that I've went through the posted lists of upcoming PS4 exclusives only to see that most of the screenshots look as if they're using last-gen rendering tech in higher resolution.
Looks fantastic and classy, without any disgusting bloodbath effects, though still having nice effects. Voice acting sounds great.
I'd pay money just to not be included with those who can claim, "I paid for Hatred"... symbolism matters, thus I could then say, "I paid good money to help prevent Hatred for profit". At least, those who get a refund can claim, "I got a refund, because I think Hatred is terrible and I was wrong to pay for Hatred".
@"Fries"1 "22" 3, you must mean the physics were fLAMER and gross. Blood squirt games are a method of desens...
People have been saying the same thing about Street Fighter 4 for PS4.
If not a typo, it must be related to the source being foreign and PAL runs at 50Hz. That, or possibly someone made that "mistake" intentionally, due to what it implies... subversive BS such as that is common against Ms, especially by those who love daemonic OSes.
Edit: @Khajiit86, you're right... Sony and Sony fans are TRASHING\TRASH talking, with a bunch of BS, such as talking about exclusives while ignoring what's been released on Xbox, such as ODST remas...
@kraenk12, I think possibly 90% of those additional games (mostly indies) will be better as Universal Apps... I expect Xbox to take the lead because of that.
I don't think developers want to limit their indies to a console that gets outdated, rather than the entire Windows Universal App platform that will eventually support over a billion devices capable of running their games.
Universal Apps may not be able to run demanding indies, though I think they...
That's exactly what I was thinking... though I didn't think I could get away with commenting that idea without being accused of trolling and\or being a fanboy, etc.
It is ironic that the article is about the "real" Nathan Drake with that smile looking so fake and bozo.
Honestly, I think this year it is better to buy Xbox for the great exclusives and more exciting software updates this holiday, then use the money left over for a PS TV with controller that can play Uncharted and other older Sony titles for a few months of a one and done $45 purchase. Without multiplayer, games such as Uncharted work fine via streaming.
For those wanting to experience all the latest "essential" gaming tech this year (such as CrossPlay with the free ...
I basically praised Sony including the beta also, to(o) much disagreement about how that move is obviously copying Microsoft.
It is a shame that Microsoft can't win any respect for how well they do anything, such as the genius marketing move of including the next version multiplayer beta to increase holiday hype and motivate people to buy the collection sooner, rather than later, for gaining access to the beta.
Spencer is great in how he manages to rise a...
Exactly, I commented that Sony is overpriced in their remasters (in an article about GoW3), to(o) much disagreement.
Sony copying Ms this way (collection and next version multiplayer beta access) should be good for them, unless they have problems without any good excuse (such as the most complex matchmaking ever known in gaming history plus releasing a year earlier, on-time, and as somewhat of a surprise release that the Uncharted collection proves set the standard for how th...
An excellent example of a game that's great with CrossPlay, and a better example of #4theplayers than when most people # that.
@Disagrees, is it that difficult to mention how you don't think this game is an excellent example of CrossPlay, or is it you all just want to appear as disagreeable, probably because you're guilty of "casually" writing #4theplayers, such as for Sony's primary tech focus of PS Now (AKA #4thecasualplayers), while Sony even admi...
@mikeslemonade, I like people Realizing that those boundaries are all about how far people can go without realizing they're being symbolically retarded (thus an I.Q. test), such as people who like this game can now claim, "I like\love\enjoy\paid for Hatred".
One of the largest (I.Q.) tests of ignor(e)ance boundaries are people who think nothing of CLAUS going ON A sLAY MISSION to FirePlace... until men Realize why that is, men will doubt that God Writes history ...
It's the best direction for Microsoft appearing open towards indies; however, I doubt this will sell well, because you're right... Xbox gamers don't generally like indies, unless they're AAA quality, such as Ori (this would have had more of a chance if Ori was included).
I expect that once Xbox has Universal Apps that allow indies to develop games for Microsoft tablet, PC, phone, and Xbox all at once, we'll see Xbox take the lead in that area, both in term...
Not the latest drivers (using 347.88 from March), and therefore, probably not a good comparison.
@Septic, thanks for the interesting link.
@SmielmaN, I think you're BACKWARDS. You're gullible if you don't think tech demos are a part of game development and can indicate the future of gaming.
Honestly, the more Sony fans downplay Xbox features and advanced technology (Kinect, DX12, cloud services, Universal Apps, etc.), the more they appear to be rejecting INTELLIGENCE (feel free to read into what that obviously symbolizes).
I...
How ugly the PS4 add-ons are shows that Sony's hardware design isn't as great as people claim. There is a similar ugly humpback USB hub add-on that sticks out of the front and would sort of match with this DATA "BANK". <- AKA, a terrible name for a device that only supports disks failures that result in total data loss. As with all daemonic OSes, this "humpback" add-on looks fLAMER.
Sony's add-ons are uglier and only support losing all you...
More like the beginning of an era now that Xbox is soon to be fully transitioned to running Windows with APP support, Cortana is about to be WideSpread globally that should work with Xbox Kinect and its upcoming Universal App support, Xbox on Windows is getting into full swing, and all that is remaining to do is release a faster XO that will obsolete Sony other than for its exclusive Asian games, since everything is better on Xbox, other than performance that will then be better on XO with a ...
Another article implying unjustified negativity towards Microsoft, and Sony fans still believe that there is media bias against Sony rather than the other way around.
Obviously, the agenda with this article is FUD... causing Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt for developers supporting Microsoft, with the implication that their games may be doomed.
Ironically, the author portrays it as if Sony fans feel "stabbed in the back" for the inevitable delay of TR ...
If they consider "so a little later" and "post summer" as "not anytime soon", then (as far as we know now) PS4 is probably not getting any new features in longer than "not anytime soon".
On the surface, I suppose the wording of the article isn't really that bad, though I get annoyed at how seemingly every article about Xbox is subversively worded to disappoint while PS4 articles make delayed games, such as UC 4 and R&C, sound as...
Speaks of creepy... I think I've seen Nintendo use this marketing move with their wholesome family games, though this comes out as if it implies "Sony is all about the blood", in this case.
Maybe next they will show him playing an anime game, such as Omega Quintet, and title how it "speaks about Sony".
I don't really think he's blood thirsty, though this marketing is terrible, especially with him wearing a suit jacket and the &...
