@Lightning Mr Bubbles, possibly blanks because, as you mention, those games may not be released for years, especially with Sony's track record of keeping release schedules. OTOH, Microsoft didn't even show many of its AAA games due next year, that are VERIFIED far into development.

A kickerstarter (!?), the 6+ year old tech of TLG that looks practically THE SAME from 2009 (showing a remastered PS3 title, that was on the cutting room floor and now with practically ZER...

I love the theme of Horizon... no blood splatter, (wo)man against the machines, and the interesting scenes of modern cities mixed with overgrown nature.

As I've been posting about for months, people are BACKWARDS claiming Ms was\is bad for gamers\#4theplayers... Sony is the one with the 100% DRM cloud game rental service, that lacks performance and image quality in ways that make it only good for casuals, and that practically forces game rental, since Sony is very unlikely to allow lifetime access to titles already owned that are also on PS Now (because it is too expensive for Sony to give away streaming).

Sony is now the...

This article's headline again proves that Sony fans SPIN, portraying negatives as positives.

"The greatest Sony E3 of all time" is supposedly one where they sell out for marketing small child toys that look as if they could be included in happy meals, publicly asking for money to develop one of their games, spend the longest time of their presentation on MULTIPLAT "dudebro" Call of Duty, and the audience has to be told when to clap!?!

Please don't bring more penis, man ass, and "blow my butt naked son's brains out" finales from The Order over to Oculus VR. Have more of an idea of your target audience, and especially THINK (STRAIGHT) about how those images will be in *VR*.

You're BACKWARDS. 360 dominated PS3 last-gen in NPD, and I think 360 sold more games globally than PS3, because PS3 was bought by a lot of people for Blu-Ray rather than gaming.

Overall, I'd say 360 won as far as gaming, especially since I think game profits are king rather than hardware sales for a Blu-Ray player.

It is a "wonder" that Microsoft has such a difficult time with gamers... they don't appear to have any clue about hardware and what technical implementations imply as possibilities going forward (such as how internal PSU failure makes future brick or how non-replaceable batteries make "going to the station for charges" inevitable, AKA less freedom, AKA "jail").

In this case, I can't imagine anything stopping the use of head tracking with ...

Wow, what a bunch of Negative Nancys in this thread. I think XO games will obviously be supported full-screen, and this tech demo was probably setup that way because they wanted to demo head tracking that isn't working in-game yet... or maybe they're promoting the idea of how it can work with a virtual world, similar to what they've demoed with HoloLens.

@Ben Dover (Ben Dohver is funnier), as your name implies, you're BACKWARDS. Those trying to imply Microsoft's plans could involve selling Xbox are the ones who are trying to keep that "illusion up" (probably for the sake of FUD).

If you knew what Microsoft was working towards, you wouldn't think that, such as when Realizing how perfectly Cortana WideSpreads with XO using Kinect.

The Xbox OS should migrate easily to faster hardware with ...

@rainslacker, I really haven't read much about it yet, though the use of the term "streaming" seems to me that they'd be streaming to Windows 10 with an Oculus, and in that case, I would guess that tracking ("full VR") through Windows 10's Oculus interface is possible, rather than only HMD.

I don't get the implication that this doesn't allow for "full VR"... I'd guess every control option available to a PC with Oculus coul...

Sony's platform having the same games on PS3, PS4, and Vita being CrossBuy is a great idea, though I'd much prefer CrossBuy between the console and Windows versions.

This game looks fantastic, and worth the $40 price, since I think this qualifies as a remake rather than remaster.

Having to worry about "going to the station for charges" every day is a daily downer. I love NEVER worrying about charges. I don't want a wired controller with temporary 3-4 hour wireless.

I agree that a button for sharing would have been good.

@RocketScienceLvlStuf, aren't you BACKWARDS? Didn't the DS3 not have a headphone jack while the 360 controller did? <- That would mean Sony copied Ms. All Microsoft is doing with the new co...

Obviously part of the reason this is Windows 10 only is because the Xbox app is Windows 10 only... that, and obviously Microsoft is desiring everyone to upgrade to Windows 10, thus why they're giving it away free.

@affrohop, says the PS4 fan with the more expensive console and remasters that cost more than Microsoft charges (GoW3 $40... ODST $5 or it would at most be $20, if you think Ms lowered the price due to MCC issues).

With that much data to potentially lose, you should think about using a USB RAID 1 enclosure for your XO.

Here's one that works with the XO.

An option to think about and for those who wish they had waited on a 1TB model... it actually can be better going with the less expensive 500GB XO, then putting that money into a RAID 1 enclosure and two drives for preventing data loss during a disk failure. RAID 5\10 can be faster, though with most RAID 1 enclosures, the disks are not dependent on the RAID logic the way they are with RAID 5\10, so you can take either disk out, such as if the enclosure stops working, then hook up either driv...

It is good Sony developed Move, and how well that tech can work with VR now makes that obvious... the (gimmick, etc.) naysayers are\were shortsighted.

Similarly, the same applies to how Kinect fits perfectly with Cortana. I think Cortana inevitably will use Kinect in interesting AI interactive ways on Xbox, possibly even more than on PC and phone, because those devices often lack "sense" as robust as Kinect.

Love that Ms is always updating for what customers want, though I still think better phone\tablet mounting options should be integrated into the controller for portable play... I think they should have a Microsoft brand accessory designed specifically for that.

@G20WLY, did you ever think that maybe they didn't commit to the $350 price at first because they were considering taking it lower and didn't want to appear to make two official price cuts, if they didn't p...
