Not sure who woul dbuy Activision DLC at 1200 MSP anyway. They are greedy little f***s. 800 is puching it. Music games only charge 560 for 3-6 song packs why should maps be any different.
Microsoft owns the rights to all future Halo title releases. There is 100% no chance that Blizzard is creating a Halo MMO. I would not mind seeing a MMO FPS come from the minds that made Halo but it won't be Halo. Besides Activision would probably want like $20 a month for a subscription fee, greedy a**holes.
A game soley based on fighting gets boring. There has to be some change-up. Too bad we haven't heard any details on a campaign style mode. I think the campaign and mini games from Armaggedon and Deception were the best addition to the MK series.
I have the gold edition. I had to buy it once they took away the DLC for the games in the Xbox marketplace. Sad they never made a gold for the second one since they took that content away too. I downloaded it but no one else will be able to. That is why the gold is much more expensive.
What a lame article. His only complaint listed was that the gameplay seems slower. It is a little slower but it was done to keep the balance of the gameplay. The new armor abilities just add a level of strategy to the mix. I do think they need to balance some of the weapons and armor abilities on maps and gametypes. This is a good deal if the price is right. The first two are really only good for the campaign anymore. The multiplayer is decent but the ranking system is stupid after about level 55. It requires so much to level up it make you wonder why you play. Even with the 50xp and 30xp weekends its hard to make a dent. I suggest just picking up the pack if you don't have any of the games and want to experience the campaign and horde modes. For me that would cost $40.
I didn't see Kinect support mentioned in that release which immediate says it will fail now that games like Dance Central exist.

The problem is not the subscription. It is the subscription on top of the rising XBL Gold membership prices the Xbox user have to pay. So modding as a business is okay if you don't own any illegal materials yourself. If he had any bootleg games or roms in his possession then he would be liable for those copyright infringements otherwise he did not knowingly violate any laws. Jailbreaking or modding is legal for homebrew and backups per fair use. He had no knowledge of how the customers planned on using the services (at least he can plead that way for the court).

Bad title. It is not "money" for nothing. You get MSP for spending money. The big one being a 12 month renewal nets 400MSP. So $40 + $5 bonus if you shop correctly. That is still a nice deals to me.
It is hard to consider highest "rated" of all-time. There are WAY more gamers in the world now then there ever was back in the day. You can see that in the sales numbers. There is no real way to compare old to new except replay and I know people still replay old games a lot.
Galaxy is good but it could have been better on any other console with real controls and better graphics. Personally I place my vote to Halo: Reach for its graphics, multiplayer, revolutionary forge mode, and solid campaign. I would give COD second simply because it is buggy and full of cheating. Halo has had some but Bungie at least is taking a proactive stance, where is Activision...counting their money.

Right now I am getting hundreds of channels including tons of HD for around $40 a month, $55 if you include the cost of the DVR per month. If Microsoft plans on replacing cable companies they need to offer DVR services inside the Xbox which I know they don't have now.
