Wow, this list is a joke. WiiFit is not #1. Personally I would rate EA Sports Active 2 as number one. I know it has some detection flaws and could use more scenery but the workout and online integration is far superior to the others. I would put Fitness Evolved in 2, Dance Central in 3 and WiiFit in 4.
If the price was right it could bring back games like Win Lose or Draw, Pictionary, and possibly a new area of party games. It could also inspire an ArtRage style game which would allow users to create or edit pictures and share them online. Sounds like they may be on to something.
They should just re-release all old school versions of the game on one disc. That includes Sega, Super Nintendo, and Nintendo versions.
Personally I am all for remakes, however it says it will not be using the Reach engine. This means that the maps won't be usable by people who play Reach. Essentially this will be like a new Halo game instead of ODST which just had story and then a "Gold Edition" style multiplayer disc. Personally I would rather see the original Halo campaign redone along with all the original Halo maps in an ODST similar release. This would make it so I don't have to use two discs to pl...
My biggest problem with the new MK is the new target audience. They have stripped out all the secondary features that made the game better and more in depth than any other fighting game, a story and mini games. Every fighting game can be a fighting game and only worry about character balance and boards. I know Tekken in the past has done a story mode which was an enjoyable respit to the monotonous fighting. Dropping these features pretty much drops the game from buying for me.
I don't care about move but Kinect support is always a plus for sports games. Even if it is not the primary control perhaps support to enable Kinect controls.
Old news
While this is great news I am suprised a huge milestone like 4.0 doesn't include the Kinect Framework. I also wish they had an Xbox Emulator to test games without needing to purchase the $99 creator's club membership. What good is spending all that money to test games. I understand charging for publishing to the marketplace but not for testing. I can see the concern about an Xbox Emulator on the PC and possible hacks but that is why we have security guys to figure out a way to pre...
They still don't understand how dumb some of these game types are. 20 lives per team for a death match. That means the one team noob will make this a one sided match. Also, who like sitting around watch a stand off in the single life modes. These are reasons I never play the MP. They need the standard timed modes or increase the kill count to 50 like every normal team deathmatch game.
Treyarch really has never made a quality game. Why fans continue to support games like BlackOps while they complain about problems is beyond me. If you don't like it, boycott it and perhaps that will actually mean something. They could care less about fixing it since more people continue to play despite the negative feedback. If you stopped playing maybe they would get the message when the money wasn't rolling in.
Although Microsoft has now said the evidence was given to the family it is convenient that occurred after the family went on the news. I still think Microsoft's phone support team is a joke. When the famaily first inquired they should have been informed that proof was being sent. If they were and just lied about getting the run around MS should sue them for defamation of character for trying to look like they were anti-autistic.
This review is lame. The feature he mention being worse are just different. Armor abilities similar to Reach are all a matter of usage. Bungie is still tweaking them to get it right. Armor lock is still way over powered. Either way it is a new dimension to how the Reach maps are played and will be crucial to how the Crysis maps are played. However, the main difference is that Halo picks the loadouts for each map where as Crysis is available all the time in custom classes. I don't h...
Every time some idiot boasts about having anti-pirating technology that just makes them a target for hackers. Going off past case there should be a hack within a few days shortly followed by a Nintendo lawsuit where they whine about it. Personally if you think your security is good just let it speak for itself. No one buys a game system because it has good anti-piracy protection.
They should re-release the first 4 on the Xbox 360 in a pack. For me the biggest failure to 5 is the controls. If your going to make a shooter stick with the standard TPS or FPS control schemes that people are used to. There are 14 actual buttons on a 360 controller in addition to two thumbsticks. That should be plenty to use a single button for an action. You until E3 to get something for a reveal.
How could developing a song for the Xbox or PS3 be different than the Wii? Sounds more like a bad development model more than a user base issue. The development should be the same for all consoles or at least contain a common interface for development and then the program takes care of the versioning. The implication of this news is that Wii was developed differently and as a result requires custom development of each song. Too bad, because then the Wii users could have all the same songs...
Wow, the new year has started off with the worst sales ever. B2G1F, this one, and only a $25 game credit for a new Xbox 360 250GB Kinect bundle purchase. I miss Black Friday :(
I have Time Warner in Cincinnati and it streams ESPN3 to my Xbox just fine. There does seem to be a shortage of programming but the connection works. I am not exactly sure what problems you are having. I do agree that having services like this are justification for Microsoft to raise XBL prices when not all customers will get access to that service. Personally I think the dashboard needs to be more customizable as far as what channels are available and the XBL prices should be a base plus...
Still not sure why bands agree to release on Guitar Hero and not both GH and Rock Band. Rock Band clearly has the edge with more instruments, more pro-like modes, and a bigger library. The Hand That Feeds already exists with many other NIN tracks but I would love Closer and Head Like a Hole. Shame
The Axon AX-100 is around $300. Why would I spend that to play one of my real guitars with a game? The pro fender mustang is only $120. Unless the price point to use a real guitar is under that I am not interested.
Stupid. Why would I buy a multiplayer game or the DLC if I knew that there would be another one only months after I finish all the achievements. FPS multiplayers are better with constant changes and DLC at decent prices...like Halo. Activision is going to over produce this game and ruin it just like Guitar Hero.
