Sega is as stubborn as it gets. Aksys approached them asking to license Valkyria Chronicles 3 for a western release, but they denied them. The 3rd party team probably talked with them about the Yakuza games aswell, and probably got the same answer from sega.

My main problem with RPGs, i've stated before, but i'll say it again, is how slow they are. But once you get the cool skills and upgrades, i get hooked on for days on, till i finish the game.

That could be true, the only port i played was Persona 4 Golden because i missed it on PS2.
The rest of the system's library is obscure niche japanese games, so we'll probably never know.
I dunno, i thought they always catered to their people. It seemed to me that they lost their touch when they were trying appeal to the western audience.
I think i've read somewhere that the developers draw inspiration from Fire Emblem and Valkyria Chronicles.

That was the only game that made me really feel sad and kept me thinking about the squad. During the entire game i only lost 2 comrades,Isara and some other Lancer dude. But goddamn, that game is a total gem.
