I think of all things the one that is killing the Wii U is...Wii! 100million people own Wii. What will it take to get them to go out and switch to Wii U for $250? Look at what EA just did. They say that now but we will see. If things don't turn around I give it 2-3 years max. That being said what the next console will really need is new tech. More efficient tech at a lower cost. If any of that pops out in the next couple of years they should jump on it.
I have to agree and I am also planning on doing what Blu is going to do. E3 made me realize I don't really have a choice. I love Nintendo and the system but they have now confirmed themselves to be a part time system with me, when I feel like going old school, laying in bed and playing Mario or something on the gamepad.

Watching people play games is great and many times hilarious. This is the train of thought that keeps Nintendo in the toilet. I had a blast watching some guy die 500 times when DKTF first came out, streaming it on Twitch. It's free advertising for your game not to mention the financial deals that could come of it.
