I haven't played TLOU (I will when my Destiny bundle arrives) but I find it hard to believe it can compare, good as it may be, to some games on that list.
Halo, Half Life 2, Goldeneye, Super Mario Kart, Resident Evil, ALTTP, SM World, GTA 3, Silent Hill, FF VI-VIII. I mean you are in some grand company of some of the greatest, most innovative and fun games ever made if it's that good.
It's not b.s. though in many cases where big name games pay much more attention to the console versions and leave pc hanging with no info or patch for months. It's an annoyance that is not soon forgotten. COD has been a prime example of this for years. Watch Dogs was just as bad.
Look most want to play the game not play with their settings or wait for new patches or drivers.
The best PC games are only on PC.

The fact that all consoles shy away from being more open like PC is pretty retarded. It has been a HUGE missed opportunity since...well pretty much since consoles have been online.
That said, the rest is all really about 2 things: HOT exclusives and price.
What can they do??? Get online more. Be more like PC. Be more open. More mmo's, more varied content, more exclusives. I thought this would happen last gen but was severally disappointed.
The other prices are fine, great actually. It's the 4 hour price that is retarded. That should be a dollar. Then ppl might rent it again to carry on. That is where you make the money. Not off the guy who rents it for a week/a month.
But you won't keep 'em coming back for 3-4 an hour.
But if the original company gets $1 per person for shit they made 10 years ago they should be happy with that from an install base that will probably hit 15-20mil next year.

while thehobbyist is right, don't forget they develop these games far ahead of their release (thus being made on older tech). With a whopping 500mb of ram the old consoles would probably set on fire with these types of mods as would a majority of pc's from the age they started developing the game at.
I think I will pass on both until they are 20 bucks. Just bored of AC and Batman. Great games but always the same old mechanics. Not even ready for 1 let alone 2. If you are all in, enjoy.
