One aspect of improvement and self evaluation is measurement.
And there is no better bar to measure yourself against (As an RPG developer) than CDP RED's 'The Withcer 2'
To put it short. I would spoil myself if Bioware turn out a ‘DA3’ title on the level of Witcher 2. For now.. I'm closing in on 100hr on the Wither2, looking forward to Skyrim and have my fingers crossed for DA3.

The Witcher 2 is probably the most in depth RPG of this generation. The myriad of choices, attention to detail, deep dialog and fulfilling story is nothing short of fantastic.
Any 'sex' in the game adds to the plausible reality of the environment and story presented.
It should also be noted that if you can take a rated 'R' movie that has multiple sex scenes in it seriously, then why can’t you do the same for a Mature rated 'adul...

DaCajun is correct, you may have a performance (frame rate) issue. I live by casting Quen and have not received any performance issues.
Not really. Although you would be in much better shape (by playing the first), the Witcher 2 spends a great deal filling in the blanks ..while Geralt fills in the gaps.....O_o

and I'm sure this will be ported to the 360 and PS3 by early next year. It’s getting far too much praise to be ignored.
CDP went through the trouble of providing a gamepad option in the game.

I broke down and changed the difficulty to easy to get through some of the tougher parts (...can you blame me? The option was there to be used..)
On the other hand: I was left to grunt it through Demons Souls. .. it was tough. I felt like I conquered the word was a sunk my sword into the 'old one' .

Regarding consoles: I had them all. My gaming focus is on the PS3 and PC primarily.
