All that is wonderful and unique about Japanese culture was purred consistently into their game development.
The second that eastern developers lose that very specific cultural focus is the second that the Japanese gaming market becomes irrelevant to the western consumer.
I not suggesting that the eastern developers cease innovation or creativity. All of those things are welcomed, encouraged and inherently part...

There were a couple of things that made me shake my head when play Infamous 2.
1 - Why dose Lucy Kou has to twist in the air before she flys off ...every time. It got tired to see.
2 - The writers of iFamous made Nix certifiably Crazy and nonsensical in consistent. Spoilers.. How could Nix on the one hand not give a flying rats tail for anyone in the city; loving h...

I have ME2 for the PS3 as well as ME 1 and 2 for the PC. Any one who played ME2 on the PS3 will have the very important ME1 save components embedded in the ME2 save (via the interactive comic book). (spoiler free) The only aspect that the PS3 user may miss out on (Deeper ME1 story line appreciation excluded) is a potential reunion with a gree Asari and undercover agent.. And the Asari consort . Others have pointed this out on this thread as well.

Video out components saved Sony a significant amount of money as well.

I just watched a couple of the Unchanged 3 E3 videos. I had Naughty Dog on the brain.
What funny is that I loved R2. By far my Favorite FPS (Personal Choice).
One thing we can agree on:***SPOILER****
They did not have to Kill Nathan. He was a great character that came into his own in R2. I'm sure..no matter what Naughty Dogs says, Nathan will be back at the close of R3.
I couldn't care less about a Halo vs Resistance debate. .. It good to here that there is another Halo trilogy coming down the pike
