@Killzone2God4Life
Thank you!
I loved R2 and was very disappointed that the 8/8 coop and heavy multilayer was trimmed down to basics.
R2 was and will always be golden to me.
For the records: I did enjoy the mood and feel of R3, but desperately wanted Nathan Hale back.
R2 to was not a failure it had a fantastic story, tight controls (great guns) and boss play; and one of the most progressive and ambitious 8/8 coop gameplay engines to date. (not to mention the fantastic multilayer).
Awesome!
LOL.... To the 5th!
Love the Yakuza games as well. Love them!
As long as it plays in the PSV... I'm in!
The game is truly a gem. By far the most fulfilling game of this year and one of my top 5 games of all time. (I have literally played over 240+ hours into this game .. by far the most of any game that I have played in the last 20 years).
Fun easy ...and at times very difficult. I wouldn't say it was a piece of cake.
@brodychet
You can't stumble on the plat for dark souls!!
It takes a minimum of 2 NG+s and a deliberate number of actions and sequenced collectables to achieve it.....in fact I would say that the plat for DS is unobtainable outside of the walkthrough book or a very good guide. I have the Plat, blood, sweat and tears to show for it. What a great game!!!!
This is a casual 'fun' feature at best. No one is using this option on hard or insanity mode.
Most of the commend require intense strategy and constant pausing during major combat.
Come on Vito. The point that Pika made above would apply to every gaming system every produced.. and even then the comment is still subjective.
Note that there are many folks who purchased the PS3 just for GT4 ... and still receiving value from it Or a 360 for Halo.
I hope the game does well... It may be 'big' but it is not Skyrim.
Although not exhaustive, my initial thoughts are that the demo feels like Fable (without the, marriage options), (caught between a cartoon and realistic character model) with a tighter combat system and obviously, a much deeper character growth tree.
The game could have benefited from a video grain filter to give the world a more realized vibe as well as voiceover for the player character. ...
yep
That's fine and your analysis isn't entirely off... however, I loved it...over the top quick time actions and all!
The demo sold me.
I game pretty hard. Most of the games I play are heavy. So, in short, this is a first week purchase for me.
Forgive any typos as I sent this from my phone.
Really good.
+Bub.
And for the record I'm a PS3/PC primary gamer. This wasn't a PS3 bash.
yep. It was the right thing to do considering that it would have paved the way for future 'more intrusive' legislation.
Ok.. after saying that FF13 part 2 improved on FF13 part 1 (above). I have to give you some credit.
A - I did not like the music.
B - I noticed that the graphics were noticeable worse in FF13 - 2 when compared to FF13 -1 (who does that?.. and I doubt the demo is from a significantly older build)
C - As expressed above.. the 'heroes' are simple..
Other than the points above. I will still get it. Oh.. and I like the battle syst...
The Demo showed a significant promise when compared to FF13 Part 1.
I'm looking forward to it.
The only issue I have the Square Enix is the uncomfortable presentence to give every major protagonist blue eyes... man!
@jellyjelly
I was thinking the same thing.
Loved the Demo....plus I need to see what happens next ...after the whole sword through the earth thing... X)
Lastly, you're right, the game is over the top (and that's not a bad thing).
The article is a fantastic read and your comments hit my opinion of FFX-2 on the head.
