Yep. In addition to a a good story, the game is incredibility fun once you get use to the quirky shooting mechanics; and like all Yakuza games, its top off with a host of goodies:
-very deep item equipment engine - JPRPG style
-Mini games galore...I mean more that you could hope for (all very very will done).
-Sub stories and culture up to you neck.
(I went through the game 3 times on my way to the platinum and loved every minute of it)

Just finished Yakuza DS..... And Loved it! Sure the camera sucks but, you get used to it.
Bring on Y5. And good look to the 'Yakuza Girl 5' candidates.
