I think Blackdeath is referring to fact that the PC was running Nvidia hardware, when the hardware for Xbone was AMD. They should had a PC run an AMD card at least...
I think its more than that. Maintaining servers is expensive and the extra online services add costs to Sony. Plus with Sony's financial issues, they need extra $$ to make up for that. I'm amazed Sony didn't do sooner....

Plus only Jago is free to play on launch day. Everyone else — unspecified returning characters as well as original fighters — will cost money. Price is to-be-determined (of course).
So they are nickel and diming you to play that game. Yeah you get Killer Instinct game finally, but all the other fighters are extra dlc content. Its worse than Capcom and their dlc for games

I agree. But now I'm worried that with Sony catering more to customer satisfaction instead of those "greedy publishers" that there might be repercussions, like Xbox One getting more preferential treatment by publishers, like EA. Hope that does not happen.

Well probably the reason Sony is charging for online play his time is $$$. I can see why they have to do that. Especially considering Sony current financial situation, It costs money to run servers, plus with all the extra costs of online services like Gaikai, they need to bring in extra revenue to compensate. Even though, PS+ is still a great value..
Wish they release the 1st game on the 3DS as well...

That's why I bought a 1 TB drive when it . was on a boxing day special. Got a WD 1TB 2.5" SATA drive for $70. Cause I was anticipating downloading all the PS+ games
Neogaf's No DRM Phase 3 Campaign - Go straight to the source of all the pushing for the DRM crap. The Publishers. EA, Capcom, Ubisoft, etc...Neogaf should have had that as Phase 1. The publishers need to hear directly from us gamers, that we would not a lot of their crap...

If this is true and Microsoft does offer an Xbox "System on a chip" solution to BC on the 720, it might force Sony to reconsider making a "Deluxe" PS4 with and included Cell/RSX processor

@Heisenburger Well bought Persona 4 just recently during sale price of $29.99. Haven't had chance to play it yet. Busy between work and playing Ni No Kuni! But plan to do it soon during my breaks and lunch at work..
Unfortunately, I guess Sony could no longer afford that option. Between cost for servers, other online services, and their own finances,the need the extra $$$. Just amazed how long we didn't have to pay...
