I agree. Only reason Cell processor should be in the PS4 is for backwards compatibility with PS3 software. Gaikai should not end all for BC,since currently especially in places in North America, there's issues with places with poor bandwidth and data caps...
The Hyper Neptunia series seems quite rare, and fetching quite a price on ebay/amazon
@wishingW3L @AsheXII Or the fact the game was distributed in such a limited fashion in North America. I wanted to get a copy when it came out, but none of the local stores carried a copy, even Gamestop..
Missed out a few things with gaming over the years. My recent one is including getting a copy of Xenoblade Chronicles ( I dont want to pay the high ebay prices for the game)...
Every time I hear things like this, I am reminded of that movie by Mike Judge Idiocracy...
I agree with you PorkChop the offerings for PS plus is much better for EU than NA. I know more PS3s does better in EU, but still actions like this risk alienating NA PS Plus subscribers. I know a few who resorted to setting up a separate EU account just to get the PS plus offerings and not bothered with PS Plus for NA.
Would like to see a version with the theme from the Godzilla movies instead of the dub step
I am impressed by the work going into this game, especially since its a PS Vita title. I know from what I've seen and heard about this title, it's Day 1 purchase for me
They should offer an alternative to Gaikai. There are lot of ISPs to do limit bandwidth/enforce data caps in a lot of places in North America and other countries. Some places where people live the HSI connections are poor for proper streaming of games, especially with fast paced games like FPS. Some people in rural areas live in area where satellite or dial up are only options. Some have no hsi connections at all. Plus what about those with Physical disks? Gaikai right now cannot be all and ...
If they go with the AMD route, they should offer 2 SKUS for PS4 one with a Cell/RSX for full BC and 1 without it...
@darthv72 What the PS Vita could use is an external umd drive add on that allows to run our umd based games on the PS Vita. I mean if one was offered today I'd go for it, even at a loss of some portability if means playing my UMD PSP games on the Vita......
I wonder why is North America not getting the 12GB PS3? I know some people who would want a cheaper ps3 and have option to upgrade later....
Wish they would remake it and bring it to the PS Vita as well...
I enjoyed Journey, but I also wanted to play Xenoblade too. But Nintendo made a terrible mistake of not releasing it properly in NA. Such a hard title to find, and those who sell on ebay well they charge an arm and a leg...and maybe a liver. They should do a rerelease of the game. Plus it wont come on PS3, since Monolith is owned by Nintendo....
Well at least Nintendo should do another reprint of the game for Wii...
It was a mistake having such a limited release of Xenoblade in North America. Now cannot find a copy in stores, and those who sell on ebay often charge expensively. If they did an HD remake for PS3, I'd buy it in a heartbeat...
All valid points. Plus maybe should include fact need some more none gaming apps for the Vita....
No mention of Fairy Tale? They should characters from that anime...
Finally!! The wait for this to come was forever...
Since the PS4 is not even announced officially yet, Sony could change the spec for the system to 8GB DDR5...
