You have to have a two gig or less usb stick formatted to FAT32 with block size 4KB or less to get it to update on your system. Yes I followed everything as directed as Sony Support says, including the folders. I talked to others had same issue. Maybe has to do with PS4not liking USB drives....
I have problems with my PS$ when trying to update FW using the USB flash drive method. I follow the instruction exactly from Sony's support website(formatted fat32, made the folder uppercase,power down the ps4 before plugging it in, etc), but for some reason in safe mode when trying to read it, it does with my thumb drive. I have a Kingston Data Traveler USB 3.0 16GB flash drive. Is it an issue with my PS4 not liking my drive? And does anyone else have the same issue?
My EB Games (Canadian Gamestop) never offered any warrenty options for PS4, told an excuse that we must deal directly with Sony for issues. So I paid extra for Sony's Protection plan...

Dear God Yes That would be awesome. Dragon Quest VIII was an awesome PS2 classic! A portable version of that game be perfect for the Vita! Do it Sony!!
Does look sort of basic, but who is to say Sony wont in the future change it to be more sleek and modern later on? Look how they changed the psn store, but with PS4 it would be implemented better.

@black0o. I agree black0o. I tried to install LA Noire on Steam, and had nothing but issues just trying get it to load. I like to game on PC, but sometimes you get hassles with drivers, and other issues when PC gaming.
Plus they need to seriously fix the issues with the PC version of LA Noire...
I agree the name is terrible. Nintendo was trying to ride the wave of the Wii's success, but so far failing to do that. They need to try market the Wii U to be different than other last gen consoles.

Agreed. I feel the same way. Instead of antagonizing one platform or another, why not enjoy the benefits of each platform. Best of both worlds I say. That is how I am going.

Hope the Limited and Collector's Editions come to Canada. Nothing on the Canadian retailers sites says anything yet.....
What this sounds like is that they rushed the consoles to market before they were ready from the sounds of it....

I agree. But another thing needed is LOTS of inputs, especially hdmi. any tvs offer only a few and with some gamers who have multiple systems, it can be a pain
