I agree Minecraft should be on Steam....
This should have come out years ago. But none the less its still good to have it...
@air1 I agree with you myself. Unfortunately Sony and Microsoft need more demand from a few for that to happen. Look at how the old Phat PS3 sold They had to remove PS2 hardware in attempts to reduce costs...I'm not even sure if a kickstarter for a full BC would work. Seems Gaikai would be only BC option, which I personally disagree with
Want to pay lot more for the next gen consoles for BC? Like for example with the PS4. No way would you get BC without extra hardware. The Cell processor from the PS3 is too different in architecture compared with the X86 processor in the PS4 to properly emulate the Cell. You would go back like to Phat PS3 way and have a Cell/RSX chip set included in the PS4. But that would drive up costs. Same with 360 CPU. Its PowerPC based CPU, Xbox One is X86 CPU. Same issues.
I want Hard...
@Godmars290 @The Great Melon
But there is something your forgetting,MKV is the choice format for Piracy (torrent movies)of movies in Sony's eyes, so you will never see MKV support
PS3 and Xbox 360 both had 512MB Ram, but it was setup differently for each console. Xbox360 had as a single pool of 512MB RAM, which can by dynamically adjusted between GPU and CPU, which was easier for developers. PlayStation 3 has 256 MB of XDR DRAM main memory and 256 MB of GDDR3 video memory for the RSX. So it was split RAM, which was a headache to work with...
@ zeal0us
Yes I strive to be a glorious god gamer as well
Don't think so. But maybe Chrome or FIrefox for PS4....
Here is the theme song - http://www.youtube.com/watc...
Are you will to pay $600+ for a PS4 with an included Cell/RSX processors? That is the ONLY way to have FULL BC for ps3 games, other than stream with Gaikai. Like SpinalRemains138 said the CPU/gpu architectures are too different to emulate properly. I myself would pay for deluxe PS4 with FULL Ps1, PS2 and PS3 BC, but most won't. Remember the launch of the PS3 Phat with full PS2 BC and how that went?
Maybe your right. I've been a hermit for too long :)
I managed to snag the Zelda Wii U Bundle for "No Tax Black Friday" for only $225. I bought the Wii U to be along side my PS4 as my next gen gaming systems. Next in line is to build a inexpensive gaming pc and I'm set for the new gen...
Well I bought the Wii U to be along side my PS4 as my next gen gaming systems. Next in line is to build a inexpensive gaming pc and I'm set
I could not get this bundle for Black Friday but managed to snag the Zelda Wii U Bundle for "No Tax Black Friday" for only $225, so it turned out not bad...
@badz149 @The Meercat The Media Center software takes advantage of DNLA I think, which is something missing on PS4 till a future patch I believe..
Maybe yor right. But still Sony should have Xmas promo for PSN in NA. Hopefully maybe that will happen
How about "The 12 Deals of Christmas" for North America?
I think this why Sony is now requiring PS plus for online play for PS4. They need the money for more servers, as well as improve PSN Infrastructure...
Just myself The Windwaker Zelda WiiU bundle for $225 (It was $250 but used a $25 gift card) with no taxes added on Black Friday at my local real Canadian Superstore. So along with my PS4 I'm good for next gen...
Try Asura's Wrath. Going head-to-head in a battle on the moon before being impaled back to the planet Gaea below by a sword long enough to pierce both him and the entire planet (380000 Kilometers long), fighting a god so massive (size of Mars or Earth) he crushes you with a single finger, survives a weapons blast powered by three fourths of the seven trillion souls the Seven Deities had collected, then obliterates a same space fleet in seconds, etc.
If they can make a ridi...
