I'd like to see them release a true next gen version. I gave up playing it on PS4 for obvious reasons but now that I have a PS5 I'd like to get my moneys worth but I'm still keeping expectations low.

Lets see, their number one franchise hasn't made a difference in the past so why would it now, in fact with the option to play their number one franchise on PC unlike in the past its even more likely the gap will not shrink. Saying "a handful of other games and known franchises" is an anecdotal unspecific representation which adds nothing to your point and Bethesda titles which are not exclusive by the way are to far off to have any effect on the gap. Based on what? There's nothing here that proves the game is going to be anywhere else other than PlayStation people are making up assumptions based on some wording being removed from a box with literally no other information. Beyond that this is a different issue, running on a different platform in this case the assumption being PC and running on an old platform aka cross gen is a different thing entirely. This is not a generational issue but good try.
Your trolling aside PC is the best place to play games as a high end rig will always outperform any console but where do you get that its happening "this summer" if at all, or is that just wishful thinking on your part?
It became $70 after a long time and how about we let it be $70 before we start worrying about $80, escalating also seems to be an issue in the gaming community.
Entry points didn't price anyone out when they were higher in previous generations. FYI whats pricing people out now is scalping prices.
