Not everyone has to like what you like, it stands to reason that some people may just generally not have an interest in the game and it has nothing to do with the developer it belongs to. You guys need to stop with the MS victim-hood stuff already.
Why is anyone saying the game looks "rubbish" automatically a "PS fanboy" according to you, this is a multiplatform game in the long run so what does brand loyalty have to do with it at all? Maybe he just legitimately thinks it looks bad which is an opinion he's entitled to without you getting triggered about it and calling him some kind of fanboy, in fact its your reaction to his comment that screams fanboying. Seems like an odd comment in what is literally an article criticizing Sony.
God of War and TLOU wasn't taken away from the xbox like Doom, Elder Scrolls, Dishonored, Fallout, Wolfenstein, etc. were taken away from Playstation, that's how so. Paying to keep some of the biggest long running multi-platform franchises off another platform is bad for gaming no matter how Phil or you or anyone else want to sugar coat it.
Depends on what acquisition we're talking about, some like the Zenimax purchase isn't healthy at all.
Ok so the answer is no you cant speak to someone without being rude and insulting. His comment suggests a lack of confidence in the product I don't know how else to say it to you, other people here clearly see the issue with his comment but I'm not going to go round and round in circles with you if you aren't capable of having a civil conversation, I think we're done here.

Right and the same people that cheer for the Zenimax purchase would chastise Sony for buying someone like Take Two (which would never happen). Point is that hypocrisy you speak of goes both ways on this site so lets be fair in our assessment here and not biased about it.
FASA Studios, Digital Anvil, Ensemble Studios, Lionhead Studios, Press Play Games, you're welcome to look them up, all of them bought by Microsoft and all were closed, they were probably not very thrilled either. And lets not forget Bungie couldn't wait to get away from Microsoft. So probably best not to do the finger pointing over studio closures Microsoft has had their fair share, it happens.
Any developer that chooses to take advantage of this platform will be hated out of existence.
What was done in TLOU2 was accessibility this is not.
