My 360 is very loud, but the one at our Chapter House you can barely hear. Mine is a replacement from Microsoft for my launch console that got the RROD after about six months. They got theirs about 9 months ago. I think it really depends on which version you have. Both DVD drives are very quiet.
I don't hear the noise when I play disc games, but when I stream movies I do and I hate it. I think I will order this if it is the same voltage as the stock fan, because I like being ab...
That sucks, because everything will be pieces of garbage!
Every time they give a free game for something, or discount games, it is always a game that I already have. It will probable happen again, since I own like 20 arcade games.
I loved the previous Burnouts, but I don't think I will buy this one. I played the demo, and it is an entirely different type of game which should probably have a different name. I think that such a drastic change in the whole game at one time is something that will turn some players away.
I will probably give it a second or third chance, in order to convince myself that I really do like it.
Also, if you have to keep defending yourself, then you are not giving g...
Sweet, can't wait for this!
This is not Guitar Hero, it is "Frets on Fire." It is actually not that bad on the PC, but you have to use the Xplorer controller - unless you want to rock out with your keyboard, which is a little strange.

They better not change the guitar for GH4! There's no way I want to buy 2 more guitars agian, after replacing both my wired ones with wireless. Also, less crap music would be nice - I still like the GH2 tracks better that GH3.
I can finally sell my modded original xbox!
aren't they coming out with some new DLC with new tonics and stuff? why would they add an achievement like this? it probably has something to do with the new content, like gears and oblivion did.
There are a lot of people who buy some games just because they are easy to get achievements, and I think that that was a great decision on Microsoft's part to include them.
Still no Stairway... DLC!
Guitar Hero needed online play, and now it will have it. That is all I ever wanted. I agree that if they are not going to change anything, then they do not need to release new versions, but song packs instead.
It's only $50 a year, which is less than $5 a month. My girlfriend and I each have one year subscriptions, and we have since the console was launched. I currently pay $54 a month to Comcast for the Internet alone, so this is negligible.
The reason that LIVE is so much better than PSN is because of that fee. The old adage holds true; "you get what you pay for."

I would have liked to play Oni 2
This is the exact same video that was already shown here a month and a half ago - http://n4g.com/News-64947.a...
I still can't wait for this to come out, and I will probably never be able to finish that song on expert.
I would pay for the maps if I was able to pick which maps I could play ranked and social playlists on. Since it is random, I rarely get to play on some of the maps that I like now, and after about 60 games, I still haven't played on all the maps.
If you choose to pay for them, you should be able to choose to play on them.
Yeah, this is not really news anymore.
All games should be on all systems, so that we don't have stupid Sony fanboys making stupid comments.
I have a 360, and it would be fine with me if Halo 3 went to the Wii or PS3. Really, who cares?
To the poster who said that you have to have a damn good reason not to be excited about Halo 3.
I am not excited about Halo 3, and every time I go buy a game, the sales people keep trying to get me to pre-order it.
I used Kai to play the multiplayer for Halo and Halo 2, but I didn't play more than an hour or so of the campaign. This doesn't mean that I won't buy Halo 3, as I may just wait and buy it used. I will wait till the demo comes out.
This happened to me, but then microsoft refunded me the points to re-download them again. I mostly downloaded new stuff, but the old stuff works fine as long as I am connected to Live.
I didn't even know that it had happened until my girlfriend wasn't able to play Uno when I took my controller to a friend's house. That is when I realized that the profile that purchased the content must be logged in to live for other profiles to access them.
This is really, reall...
