Why does one console have to win? Can't we, as gamers, be the ones who win? If only one system existed, we would all be losing. Without competition, there can be no advancements.

might have something to do with an email sent out from amazon about the 360 price cut. I never got one about the PS3 slim.
The PS3 Slim is new, therefore more "cool" to have - all psychological and Sony is smart about that. Everyone wanted to be the first to have the PS3, 360, or Wii before anyone else. The 360 was always more affordable, with different options at different price points.
If 360 sales start to decline, then we could say that MS is in trouble.
Not like people actually buy consoles for games or anything.
So, if I can play one game on the 360, then I shouldn't have to pay to play the same game on the PS3?
I guess people would just rather have the extra features not available to anyone. Grow up!
Stop whining! Use Facebook and Twitter on your PC if you don't have gold. It is not your right to have everything you want, but it is a privilege given to those who have gold.
I am so sick of people complaining and thinking that they are "owed" something by developers and console manufacturers.
I do have gold, and I love playing online. I also recognize that people need to pay for Live in order for Microsoft to continue to add features that people want.

Being the first title to offer avatar awards will mean more sales. People that would not normally purchase the game probably will, only for that reason.
