Not really news, we have known for a long time that this would be released in Japan, but hopefully it will be release in the U.S. also.
I am not going to buy another music game, unless it is compatible with my existing peripherals. Other games don't make you buy a new controller, so the music ones should not be able to get away with it. Microsoft needs to nip this in the bud before it gets completely out of hand. We are the ones getting screwed. Boycott!

I like Guitar Hero and RockBand, but I am not going to buy more peripherals for Guitar Hero or Konami's game. If they all worked together that would be fine, but they won't. I have two wireless Guitar Hero controllers that I use for RockBand along with everything that came with RockBand. That should be enough to play Guitar Hero 4 without buying extra stuff. I will most likely not buy Guitar Hero 4 if it requires more, and I hope that they realize that they are going to lose a lot of their ma...

I am not willing to go out and buy an extra set of drums for this, and guitar hero 4 will probably require their drums also. I think that requiring all of the bulky peripherals is just ridiculous!
Lets say that I wanted to get 100 headshots, but could only get one a game. I could get into a game and get a headshot, then quit out. If they did like EA and does and show a completion percentage, that would be better - even though it is extremely flawed.

When someone sends you a voice message and you are in a game, the game volume should mute so you can hear the message. In some games, the music never turns off - you have to exit the game.

I never understood why people used some of these words or why they think it is cool, It was really annoying in Gears - to the point that I stopped playing it. Also, I am glad that Bungie removed some in-game chat functionality in Halo 3.
I have been holding off on buying either format until this is over, so I hope it ends soon. I have a 360, but I don't really care who wins.

I think that 700 points is too much to ask for an expansion pack. Maybe 300 or 400 would be better considering that the full game was only 800, and this only adds 3 more achievements. Great game though.
