I don't think EA really ever took 2K Football seriously. It outsold them by millions of copies. It wasn't even close. It would be like Apple taking the Zune as a serious threat to the iPod, lol.
Just because you can make a baseball game, doesn't mean you can make a football game. They're two entirely different beasts to develop for.
EA used to put out the best baseball games on the market with MVP Baseball 2004 and 2005.
2K couldn't even sell more copies in 2005 at $20, lol.
Yes, out of the 24 reviews the site has done, THIS is the one we chose to create a low score for in order to hit-bait! You caught us, lol.

I'd assume you can play it offline.

Yes. A lone game is a franchise.
I think it depends what school of thought you want to go with. EA obviously canned the game in February of 2011. However, in May of 2012, some resumes showed they had worked on Mirror's Edge 2 in some capacity. Whether or not this was pre-EA Canning the game or post-EA canning the game is up for debate.
In November, it was rumored that Mirror's Edge 2 was absolutely in development at DICE, but nothing was confirmed or announced regarding the game.

Is it possible that those three were more memorable because there were less characters to remember during that period of time? This generation, great games come out multiple times a year which leaves more great characters to remember. That means it's harder for characters to be more memorable like in the past.
I skipped AC3 entirely. I'll be skipping ACIV as well. Has nothing to do with a game being popular or not. I'm also a huge AC and AC2 fan as well.
Read the article again, you're not doing it right.
The editorial discusses IPs only created this generation. R&C has been around for a lot longer than just the PS3 span.
Yeah, I screwed that up. I'll need to fix it in our article for sure. Thanks for the heads up.
