This won't work in Canada, it falls under the gift card law passed a few years back.
Any payed redeemables like gift cards or digital currency that you pay for with real money cannot expire or lose value over time.
This has always been typical of Nintendo, Blind copyright protection without logical assessment. They screw themselfs more than the people they are shutting down.
Most other companies would have been excited about an event like that and may have even helped support it, Nintendo just runs in half cocked and shuts it down without even knowing fully what it is.
Oh crap, sry about that. went afk for a few minutes after reading the article then came back and saw all the comments talking about Monolith and got mixed up.
Just because you haven't heard of them, doesn't make them unknown.
Monolith soft has been around since the PS2 and Gamecube and are very well known.
They made the Xenosaga/Xenoblade games and Baten kaitos. They also co-developed Smash bros: brawl, Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus and The legend of Zelda: Skyward sword.
Ok, now for the #ReleaseLOD2 Campain.
@Eddie20101:
"Why do you assume it's Sony fanboys that are against it rather Microsoft fanboys"
Because N4G is notoriously pro Sony, the Sony fanboys outnumber MS fanboys like 100:1 on here.
Also this is the only site that i know of that constantly hates on the SHIELD, most other sites i have seen news about the SHIELD, there is near universal excitement for it. Hardly anyone on other sites ever says it is overpriced or that it ...
@GrandTheftZamboni:
Probably not given the hardware in it would have been considered alot more advanced at the time, however, it isn't really relevant.
The Vita is still selling for $250 now, the SHIELD is only $50 more despite having much more powerful hardware, and 16GB of built in storage space. If Sony were to release a device identical to the SHIELD right now, it would likely cost $400.
@Masterdon:
Explain how it is overpriced.
It is $299
Both the PSP and PS Vita were $299 at launch and the SHIELD is several times more powerful than the Vita, which currently is only $50 less and doesn't even have built in flash storage.
Seems to me you are just a typical butthurt Sony fanbrat who cannot handle potential competition, just because SHIELD isn't made by Sony you call it overpriced or garbage or a joke, e...
Gaming mobo's have supported 24GB ram for over 4 years now.
http://hothardware.com/News...
There are a couple dozen boards that support 64GB of ram and several that support dual and even quad physical CPUs.
Money no option, i could theoretically build a system with 32 CPU cores, 128GB of ram & 4 Titan GPUs with 6GB of ...
I tried getting my cat to play Aliens CM and it pulled a spock, cocked its eyebrow and walked away. My cat is very easily ammused, so the fact that even it walked away from this game has to tell you something.
The dog liked it, but then again my dog is a dumbass, is stone blind in one eye and smokes like a pound of weed every day.
@Nukeitall:
Since when is Texas part of Canada?
None of you know what a dev kit is obviously.
A PS3 devkit costed over $20,000 and the Xbox 360 wasn't too much less. PS4 and Xbone dev kits are probably around $15-20k also.
It is a dev kit, not final hardware.
The final hardware will probably cost $150 at retail.
@BlackTar187:
The part about the house, yes i was being sarcastic. Figured it would be obvious.
The point is the same though, Aim assist was created to make up for the clunkiness and imprecision of controllers. KB+M is and always will be vastly superior.
If you were talking about the left trigger, fire part, no i was not exaggerating.
95% of fps's i have played on both the PS3 and 360, once an enemy is on screen, you do n...
That is refered to as a bait and switch sales tactic. It is illegal.
@BlackTar187 & AliTheSnake1:
Aiming on PC may be easy but atleast you still have to aim.
On a console, aim assist does the work for you.
Just be facing in the general direction of the enemy, quickly tap+hold the left trigger then hit fire and you are 99% likely to get a direct hit.
Try playing with aim assist turned off, most console gamers cannot hit a house from 5 feet away with it off.
Also the twitch ...
For speed, precision and customisability, KB+M is still 10x better than any controller.
Controllers are so imprecise, most modern FPSs have aim assist on by default.
There is absolutely no way she would ever get anywhere near $10 per copy sold, even if she won the case.
For starters she isn't even the main character in the game. Second, on an average $60 game, the developer gets about $35, the publisher gets $20 and the retailer gets $5. In this kind of case, she would end up getting around 50 cents per copy.
Not sure why people think that looks like Ellen Page,
Elle is about 10 years younger, has a noticably narrower face, much longer neck, different lips, different nose, different eyes. If Ellen Page was 10-12 years younger then there might be a vague resemblence. As it stands, its not even close.
Ellen Page's 5 minutes of fame have come and gone, now she is grasping at straws trying to make a quick buck.
Of course it has better specs, it's a full size tablet.
That is like calling a laptop a failure and saying you will wait for a new desktop PC.
Also the Transformer Prime was $600 at launch, as will be a new one.
@2pacalypsenow:
To play better Android games than your phone can handle, with proper gaming controls, and to play PC games on the go.
This will be like 1983 all over again.
The shovelware floodgates are about to open now that any idiot with a computer can start making WiiU games.
Nintendo has just officially killed itself.
