Interesting read, well researched (and even correctly labeled as an opinion piece). Wished more content was this thorough.
I just hope they won't charge full price for this. If its 30e or less, count me in. If not, I will wait for the price to drop.
At some point it will control itself. Most people probably will think twice before buying a game that is 100$, so if that affects sales companies will adjust. Right now, there seems to be room for selling extra content. You either dont mind or you dont buy, simple as that.
I actually agree with this. Just ignore the hate on the media and "news sites" and you will find that a lot of great games came out the past years.
There have always been companies trying to maximize profits with minimal content; you either dont mind or dont buy. It's not exactly rocket science.
I rarely preorder games, except for a few I will buy day one anyway. Never bought microtransactions and will never buy them in full-priced games unless I am still into them 100+ hours in. Don't mind DLC and seasons pass that much, as long as it is well done and actually adds upon the experience or lengthens a good game (not just unlock something that should have been there) like in Bloodborne, The Witcher, etc.
So much this. Even just watching Bloodborne streams gets me the same excitement I had when playing the game. Such an amazing experience :D
I also really enjoyed Dark Souls 3, but the world of Bloodborne and the feeling of dread while exploring is quite unique.
Too bad my friends don't really like this kind of difficulty in games, not too mention my wife XD
Not much of a racing fan myself, but looks like a great game for XBox owners :)
Why is this guy with his random comments always on the N4G frontpage? -_-
Loved it on PS4 as well, definitely worth checking out. Soundtrack is awesome :)
Ikr, once I read "page 1 of 51" I was done :p
Can't we just be happy that apparently console gaming is still thriving? Kudos to MS for putting out a machine with a large public appeal, from a PS4-gamer. Here's hoping for crossplatform gaming before 2035. :)
I would consider it if most of my favorite games get a boost in fps (bloodborne, dark souls, witcher). Boost in resolution does not matter that much to me to upgrade. Still, if I did not own a ps4 yet I would buy the pro over the regular one.
The Last of Us 2 releasing this holiday season

It's over Bucks9000!!!
Good article... love to read about all the little details to the world.
I honestly expected the driving to be automated and the actual exploration on foot; but I am curious how this will change when the car turns into an airplane (from an earlier video).
Very entertaining to read. Will make sure to avoid it at all costs :)
Playing mobile games while in Auschwitz is just disrespectful, has nothing to do with it being pokemon; could be any other game for that matter.
Misinterpreted your comment then, agree the "just don't do it again" is kinda weak.
Well said, really don't understand people fail to grasp this.
If you are proud of something you created, wouldn't you want to have it be experienced by the largest number of people possible?
