Actually, it looks like it is exactly what you said it's not: a copy and paste job. I've watched people take pictures and turn them into that.
At absolute worst, they absolutely looked at those pictures and copied them completely. There are no ifs, ands or buts about it. It happened.
No, this was completely ripped off in every sense of the word. It wasn't inspired by or parodied, it was literally copy and pasted into Photoshop, maybe reverse a negative and artify it and them blam, done.
And there isn't even a debate. That is literally how it went down.
I honestly don't think I've ever seen a game with this much controversy. Everything about this game just stinks. The sad part is, I am sure there is an enjoyable game wrapped up in there, but this is the epitome of capitalizing on a trend, and they did it the laziest way possible. I am glad to see it backfire.
They even called it WarZ to create confusion. I honestly didn't follow anything about this game until the shizzle started to hit the fan, and I assumed it ...
I understand a lot of people get their rocks off with the fact that this game is so hard, and that is fine and more power to you. I just don't understand why people wouldn't want it to be "accessible." If they have a game mode that caters to the fans that have made the game the smash hit it has been, shouldn't that be all that matters? Would it really bother you how other people play the game?
I will never understand that aspect of many gamers. Let'...
Pretty sure we all saw this coming, unfortunately. This isn't the end, but it's not good. I hope nothing but the best for everyone involved.
Sounds like a personal problem. Sounds like he's looking for something to complain about. The game is what it is. If you're looking for it to be something else, go play something else. I look at the enemies you go up against in this game and they aren't exactly Mensa candidates. So no, I don't expect them to be very tactical. Gearbox definitely made the AI smarter than it was in the first game, but yeah, it's definitely a game where you shoot stuff. It almost seems like th...
Spec Ops: The Line had a really solid single player story. Better than Black Ops 2. There were some pretty messed up moments that made you go "whoa."
Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning was amazing. Still pretty sad about 38 Studios. I was at the release event and got to meet Curt Schilling and RA Salvadore and it was awesome. They were so excited and into it. I also got to meet tons of 38 Studios employees as they literally waited and cheered for every single person as t...
I do agree that it is incredibly odd that they waited so long to put this out, but I will most definitely play it. It's five bucks and I actually liked RAGE a lot.
That legitimately makes no sense in any context, but that's par for the course.
The developer doesn't owe anyone here. If they don't want to develop for the Wii U, that's their deal and they'll have to live with it. If you have a Wii U and want to play the game, you probably have a big boy console or PC too. Play it there.
Maybe we should start petitioning to have games on other consoles every single time one gets left out? Let me get that petition going to have The Witcher 2 on PS3 and The Last of Us on Xbox 360!!
I can confirm I too was able to download the map pack this morning after reading this article. I barely even play Halo but free is free.
I don't think 6/10 is harsh at all. I can absolutely see people giving it that. It's about a 7.5/10 for me, but there are so many frustrating mechanics and glitches that made me want to give up and never play again at many points during the game. I'd say story is 10/10, but gameplay is only about 5/10. Different strokes for different folks.
Borderlands 2 is not broken on the 360. I have almost 300 hours in and have never experienced a single problem.
I actually like it... oh well.
This article is brutal. It should be called "let me find nine reviews I disagree with and present my vastly superior opinion all while making the #1 most spectacularly wrong video game review one that I wrote so I look humble and important."
Reviews are opinions. There is no way to prove an opinion wrong. You can agree or disagree, but even a lot of people disagreeing doesn't make it wrong. Even if I agree with some of the points you made, I would never disagree...
What is the point in covering half their heads? It just makes the picture completely uninteresting.
Well that's what you make it sound like. "Oh noooo someone I don't agree with they are the worst everrrrrr."
I'm just saying you bookmarked the site for a reason, the writing seems fair enough. It's just funny to me that now they are suddenly not worth your time because they had a different opinion on two games.
They disagreed with you on two games and it's the end of the world, huh? I guess it's your life to live.
Um... Red Dead Redemption not even mentioned once.
@wetnoodle More people need to be like you and start calling it the Xbox 3... or anything but the Xbox 720. The name Xbox 720 makes me cringe. The absolute dumbest thing I've ever heard and it makes no sense whatsoever. So thank you for not being that guy.
