I actually liked the game quite a bit. This is too bad. I think this became the game people ripped on because they knew they could and no one would call them on it. Total mob mentality. I mean, I'm not saying it was a 10/10, but it wasn't anything lower than a 6. I would have played much more of it if more of my friends were playing.
Hopefully Danger Close gets to do something else.
Maybe they should polish the idiotic cover that cut off half of the character's heads. It looks retarded.
Loved the game. Really sad there wasn't a second. It was a day one buy for me.
@dboyc310 - The theme of the game Einstein.
Um... or they made a limited edition controller based on a video game? Kind of like the Call Of Duty, Killzone, God Of War and I don't know, many others that Playstation has done? You realize both companies do this all the time, right?
And you do realize that Tomb Raider was doing Uncharted before Uncharted was even a pipe dream, right? And they both got the gimmick from Indiana Jones. Someone searching the world for treasure is hardly an original idea. Done well? Sure. ...
Yup. Agreed. That's the part we need to (or for some, don't need to) worry about. Continuity.
Have Marvel comics and movies been less violent? Nope. There's your answer.
Darth Revan.
Got that one earlier.
People that play competitively. I can't even tell you how many times I've had to delete people. It's actually incredibly easy to fill up 100 slots.
I am so glad that I immediately drove to my local Gamestop and switched my pre-order.
@BLAKHOODe - People are going to buy consoles because they want to buy the console. Microsoft clearly doesn't need more franchises to sell more. The ones that they have along with all of the other content sell their console just fine, and will continue to do so. They are clearly not worried about it.
People really need to learn the meaning of the word biased before they throw it around so freely. The word you are looking for is opinion.
In the eyes of Sony fanboys, they desperately need more exclusives. In the eyes of the people that own the console, they are doing just fine. Would it be nice to have more games exclusive to the console? Sure. Is it the be-all, end-all? Absolutely not. There will still be a metric sh!t-ton of games to choose from. Whether or not they are exclusive to the console is really irrelevant. Would Saints Row 4 or Darksiders III somehow be a better game simply because they are exclusives? That makes ...
I went and upgraded my preorder to the Post Pandemic Edition today. I'm actually getting pretty excited for this.
If Microsoft is serious about "winning the living room," then they are going to have to bite the bullet and make their machine a Blu Ray player. From everything we've seen and heard, that is one of their big goals with the next Xbox.
The only part I care about is the bigger storage space on the disc. I don't care about disc swapping. It's not that big of a deal to me. I don't see a downside to having everything on one disc, though. I could care less...
I don't generally jump in on the Kotaku bashing, but I saw this video a few times today and... I don't get it. I've seen it happen like, a million times in this game and many others. Alrighty...
What we know is it won't look like that.
It's hardly a unique idea. I suppose Nintendo, Microsoft, Sony, Atari, Sega and every other console maker ever stole their ideas for a video game console from Magnavox.
It looks really, really cool, but it not practical. There is no way they could fit everything necessary in that package. Awesome job though. I agree it is the best looking one thus far.
