I had KZ2 for a while, it was a fun different experience from other shooters. I felt disappointed when GG gave KZ3 COD-like controls. They should have kept their identity instead of trying to bring in the casual player.
To be fair, Gears 2 didn't sell that much more than U2. I don't expect there to be much of a difference between U3 and Gears 3 either. Preorders don't mean shit, especially when I haven't seen the preorder deals for U3 yet.

I personally hope GOW 4 will be a PS4 launch title. Imagine native 1080p @ 60 fps! One can only hope.
People seem to have different opinions on what "next gen"is. To me next gen means a new console with hardware that will push graphics, physics and ai to the next level. To me, the WiiU is just catching up to the 360 and PS3, just like the Wii was on the same level as xbox and PS2.
Armageddon was fucked up with KAKs, MK vs DC self explanatory, MK9 is gimmicky characters (Kratos, Freddy, whoever is next)

ElementX, you don't have to buy shit. Buying video games is optional in case you haven't noticed. Believe it or not, there are many people who have never played the Ps2 titles or the psp ones. Lol, there's people who haven't played ANY GOW games. This would be a great deal for these types. Stop thinking inside the shell for once.

@faceless, I wasn't talking about pc's. Of course pc's will always be ahead of the curve. Devs rarely make full use of what a pc can offer. I'm talking about consoles.
With Gears 3, Uncharted 3, BF3, Rage (?) I think we're pretty much there. it's not so much a bad thing though, because it now forces devs to explore the architecture of the consoles more than ever to squeeze out every resource they can. Lately, I've been seeing games with better lighting effects, particle effects, physics, etc.
