Since the games will be processed on the server side I wonder if they could improve the resolution, framerate, etc like many emulators do.
That would significantly increase the value of this service.
It would have been higher if they had enough stock, not because of the delayed games.
My brother pre-ordered one and I was going to get one on the day if I could but the queue was already full.
They were turning away all the latecomers and there were many disappointed people. Probably 3 times as many people as stock available.

Nvidia needs to put their money where their mouth is.. Fund or develop a killer game specifically designed for a top end PC.

The game appears simple at first glance but actually needs some decent graphics card to run at 60fps maxed out.
I tried it out yesterday on my i7 3770 @ 4.3GHZ and an AMD 7950 and it actually had problems maintaining a solid 60fps at 1680x1050 resolution when everything was maxed out with Extreme (FXAA + 4xSSAA).
It kept dipping to around 55 fps many times. The cpu usage was not much (<20%) but the GPU usage was over 95% most of the time and touched 100% in some pl...
Realistically they may have sold 1 million units as I expect them to have shipped more than a million to 13 countries.
It would be pretty poor if they could ship only 1M overall.
If they sold less but are hiding the truth then I feel bad for them. The fight is lost before it has begun...
No the developers had deadlines to meet for the launch. Once the game has gone gold they still keep working on the game code to improve performance and correct bugs. Like most pc games they will probably keep releasing patches over time until they get everything sorted. Even the Xbox one version could get a performance boost.

Are you forgetting the RROD issue which cost MS a huge amount of money? quite a few of the sales were repeat buys from all those people who bought a 360 in the first 2 years...

The PS4 version will be the definitive version because it will incorporate everything the PC version has (inc. TressFX) compared to the console versions (i.e Xbox360 and PS3)..
I'm pretty sure no one cares what these reviewers say. If reviews say its a bad game should all those who pre-ordered the game send it back?
For true feedback ask all those who pre-ordered KZ:SF, COD and Battlefield 4 what they think of the games, not these half-arsed reviewers who play the game for a few hours because they have to as part of their job.

Even Crimson Dragon got a fairly low metacritic score of 56 but I would still enjoy playing it since I love panzer dragoon. Who cares what a few COD loving reviewers say.
Just the tressFX on pc made it far superior than the console versions. High res textures, etc will definitely make the PS4 version the definitive edition.
I would not recommend doing this to a PS4 that's under warranty. If your console is overheating, send it back...
Unless you can monitor temps like a pc there is no way to tell if the new paste is better or worse.
The new consoles are basically pc's and just like pc's it is possible to quickly change resolution to improve performance.
As with most patches the devs may be able to boost performance as they improve the game code. Who knows, they might even bump the XB1 to 1080p eventually.
