4xMSAA, 1080p like visual fidelity(with black bars) and The Order is definitely one of the best next-gen game, IQ wise, so far.
People keep forgetting that even Resident Evil 4 had no MP/Co-op and had black bars like The Order: 1886, yet it was one of the best single player game released in the PS2 generation.
Some people are reporting that PS NOW beta testers get some new resources/features but it isn't confirmed yet.
The Japanese PS3 site change log lists it as simple 'stability update', likely relating to the Blu-ray/DVD playback.
My hunch is that it is an update for the Blu-ray/DVD playback. No official change log as of yet.

I am still trying to process how it is "hint" for an online component on inFamous: SS when it was just confirmed that there is none. And from the sound of it, it looks more like inFamous: SS will have kick-ass sound.

They most likely choose games from different genres for testing purpose. Disgaea is there but sadly no JRPG in sight.
I think you meant less fps and more action/adventure or open world titles. In which case, i wholeheartedly agree. The FPS market is already saturated enough.
