Ummm... it matters a lot especially for 720p vs. 1080p.
The other screen is a "bullshot" and not a ps3 shot, in which the game is rendered at higher than 720p res and then downsampled to 720p/1080p; so it looks super smooth and clean without any jaggies. These are usually called "bullshots" because they are mostly press-material and the end game never looks like it.

Kudos to Sony for porting it. Frame rate runs at 28 to 32 fps, as per IGN preview.

@creeping judas: If you have it on PS+, you can buy the full game for a minimal price. At least this was the old plan. No idea what will happen once this game is re-revealed.
After this patch, the game has started to stutter for me. It is just a single stutter but it happened like 2-3 times during my 1 hour playthough.
On their website, they list it as coming in Nov this year.

The day/night stuff is really strange. After finishing the game, we might be randomly stuck with any of the one time of the day. Like in one of my save, i got daytime while in another, i got night. So it is strange and random. But the game is so beautiful, a dynamic day/night cycle would have done it the justice it deserves.
Edit: No, it is not permanent, but random. Good Karma = Daytime and Evil Karma = Mid-day for me. So i dunno.
Nope, it can be played without this patch. This new one was just released, and i can't seem to find any patch notes in the log on PS4.
KH 2.5 is slated for a release this Fall, so presumably End of Sep/Oct is my guess.
Asian PS+ is always different compared to US/EU counterparts. Although, i think Mercenary King could be the PS4 game for Asia/US/EU.

We considered PS3 as well but unfortunately the PS3 version is actually the worst one here. The point was to compare the best of old generation to the best of new one, so it ended up as PS4 vs X360.
Sony won't ever confirm or deny this rumor. You have to keep waiting. Just like we are still waiting for The Last Guardian and Agent. =/
Hiring for potential projects while scrapping some internal ones is really nothing new. We can't really assume this was their only project, they might have more projects in the pipeline. Ofcourse, since we never saw this one, we don't really know if it was good or bad. I don't think we will ever know about it now.
These sales are horrible but with the launch line-up, that was to be expected. Not to mention the free to play games that are available on Japanese PSN.
GPU Compute will play a big part in games going forward, that's for sure. SPUs, similarly, were used by a lot of the PS3 exclusives.
