People not all games require a memory stick. Alot of save data is saved to the physical stick. If it was a voucher for the digital copy then no memory would be a problem.
Actually you can boot games without a memory card. The games save on the card not the memory stick.
I don't know about you but if you wanna play your ps3 games anywhere then the vita is a must and cross-buy helps justify it even further. Not only that but Vita has a much better and smoother interface for all your multitasking needs. If it wasn't for that MGS4 patch my ps3 would be under the bed with my 360 until December.

why does everyone say this thing needs to be $150? it cost about $159 just to make 1 lol. Plus the vita is twice as powerful as the 3ds. 199-250 for the wifi model is good enough. Its still $2-300 dollars cheaper then phones and tablets with lesser or similar specs and performance.
spec wise the 3ds is extremely close to the psp lol. yeah the 3ds is more powerful but they are within the same power grid.
They are making a killing on those proprietary memory cards anyway. They can afford to just give a 4 gig.
4 gig is hardly worth the effort. 8-16 or nothing at all, when I first got my vita back in Feb. It came with 8 gig but after downloading Ultimate marvel vs capcom 3 and uncharted that was it. I had to upgrade to the 32 gig stick for it to actually serve as a Download maching. After buying the 32 gig I had a total of 29 gig to actually use. Then 100 song, 5 vita, and 3 PSP games later I only have about 15 gig left.
Melee wasn't that fast paced. Its the same as brawl, knock your opponent out of the ring to win.
Well being in the beta all I have to say is yes getting hit matters. All I gotta say is lv3 sly..... broken as hell! You can easily get 6+ kills with his lv3 attack.
Not any one game is going to move the vita but with games like these coming it will sell better.
But I honestly do see COD and Assassin's creed doing the vita a ton of good. Those are 2 games the west really eats up.
Well snake and sonic aren't Nintendo characters either but they were both well received. Nothing wrong with a few special guest.
I love playing as sly cooper. he's such a troll. L1 and he can be invisable as long as he wants until he attacks but after he attacks he disappears again. He's the only one who can safely avoid a level 3 special attack because he is virtually impossible to find and there for attack.
I like how buying the vita version gets you the ps3 version free. Sony if sony does this with PS All-stars and all future psvita/ps3 cross play games I'd really see this sprking Sony's software sales.

The wii u is hardly next Gen. Its still within this gen's range. Plus Sony is also making the vita a controller for ps3 next update, so wii u's main selling point will be DOA.
