If the vita is an indicator on Sony's next console its that cross-game chat will be on it for no extra cost. And wth the vita offers party chat as an easy to use app yet me nor my friends even use the feature at all. If you honestly believe that live is worth the price the you seriously haven't weighted other options.

bothebo has a point to some degree. Smaller install base equals less game sales. So RE selling more then Uncharted makes sense I mean there's only what like 2 million vitas out there vs 17-18 million 3DS. Its a no brainer which game is gonna sell more.

its not really $100, its subscription based meaning you pay over a period of time and its actually more expensive (about $470 over 2 years to be exact). If you cancel early while owning it, it'll set you back an extra $200. and that offer is only through MS not retail. Bottom line is the $100 360 deal aint worth the extra hassle and its better to pay up front.

I saw that but I only disagreed (i gave you an agree though cause sony should unlock it) because you where talking about using it for visuals. I think it'd only be good for adding extra features like PS vita connectivity and if they can bring the OS memory foot print down cross chat or even a new interface.
If true maybe the new ps3 model would be more vita friendly and make streaming data from remote play faster and more efficient. Then we can play games and access all our data lag free. This would also allow for ps3+vita bundles which would increase the sales for both allowing developers to take more risk and implement the same kind of features the wii u is going with.
Shoot if Sony does unlock that last SPE on the cell for deb's to use it should got to ps3+vita connectiv...
Hey Im 21 and have a 3DS. I got it because it was the zeldagold and black edition. But outside of Pokemon, certain Mario games, Zelda, Kid Icarus, and a feature brawl game I don't see myself buying much more for the 3DS. I already have 24 games downloaded to my vita though. I just wish Sony made everything in the PlayStation store compatible with vita, I really wanna play my God of war HD collection on the go along with chronological trigger and sonic CD and adventure.
I wonder if the vita can make use of it?

Really not that absurd at all. I'm an RA so I get to do room inspections on my for the guys in my building. I mean I guess I'd have to ask the female RAs what kind of video game the girls rooms has but in alot of the girls rooms I have been in the most they got is a cell, laptop, camera, and iPod.
Like I've been saying if the Vita is any indicator to the PS4. The PS4 will be very powerful yet easy to develope for, affordable, a wayyy better interface with OS having a very small memory footprint, and support both digital and physical formats. It's also going to be taking the more social route. I just hope the PS4 isn't as slow as the vita as far as getting features and functionality out in a reasonable time frame, that would hurt the PS4 greatly.
