No that isn't it at all. Look at how many mario games we've had in the past 3 years and look at how well each one sells. Japan just hates LBP is all.

The $99 360 sell?
Easy, no games on either two which keeps them relavent. I bought a gears 3 360 but sold the harddrive after I beat gears 3. Since the ps3 gets all the multi-plats and has a ton of exclusives out and still coming with free online many gamers don't feel the need to use their wii or 360. I spend about 30hrs on gaming a week with work and school factored in and the majority of that time is spent on the ps3 or vita. I recently got an r4 for my 3DS so I got alot of games to catch up there.
The majority of vita owners already have a ps3. If the trend continues the majority of future vita owners will be people who already sport a ps3. The entry price point for us ps3 owners is only $249. So in actuality its much cheaper for already existing ps3 owners to just grab a vita. I bet once vita hits 10 million in sales development will support crossplay a hell of a lot more.
Lol Sony did did what the wiiu could do before the wii came out, its the wii2 that's copying. Ps3 also did the kinect first via eyetoy and had sixasis before the wiimote. Only thing they did copy was the wiimote design.

The vita has a directx 10.1 card just like the wii u. The wii u doesn't have directx 11 shaders but may be capable of some directx 11 like features when the CPU and gpgpu work together.

Dude hardly any product allows us to do whatever we desire with it. Almost every product comes with terms and agreements which have to follow or face legal troubles. And as far as being bent over Sony hardly ever gets away with it like Apple, MS, and Nintendo. Remember when Nintendo took us for a ride with the wii? 1. So what? Same can be said for the wii U. For all those currently on the ps3/360 why would you pay $299+ for a console that has basically the same games. And Last time I checked the Vita had its own Uncharted, Gravity Rush, and soon be AC3, and KZ. The major selling point of the Vita is it's ability to keep playing your console games on the go which is better then having to sit in the house because the wii U tablet can't leave the house

There are already 70 million ps3s out there. Sony's target audience is those people who already have a ps3. So the whole $500 is not accurate as the people who Sony wants to buy a PSVita already has the first item. So for us current ps3 owners $249 for the full package is better then buying the wii U especially since they both have more games.
Well when MS was required by law to deal with the problem or face billion suits I don't think its hard to believe the 54% number. As a matter of fact I believe it was much higher as MS spent billions trying to fix the problem anyway.
