I love how like 3 reviews in the 60s and like 20 reviews in the 80s is considered "extremely unfavorable". Did anyone stop to think for a second that the people giving it low reviews simply aren't playing it right? From what I've read, they just don't get it.
This game is like Monster Hunter. It's designed to have some "unfair" gameplay mechanics for a reason. This reason is because you're supposed to play the game over and over and LEA...
Wow this guy is an idiot. I understand a lower score for a worse version of the game, but honestly, the score should not be in the 5's in the first place. It has a 75 on metacritic right now, the score being brought down only by like 2 or 3 reviews, everything else is in the 7's and 8's which is plenty good enough for me for a game like this. Seriously, 10 scores in the 8s, and like 2 scores in the 60s? I'm prone to go with the 8s, and judging by this actual review from readin...
This has got to have some of the best multiplatform graphics around.
Pssh who cares. Are people seriously not going to buy a game because they have to wait 10 minutes to play it while they install it? People just love to complain. This shouldn't even be an issue.
Um...first of all, which Silent Hill? And second of all, it's an action game that takes place at night, not a survival horror game just because it's dark.
It's kind of ridiculous that people are taking this man's word as gospel. Play what you think is fun. If you loved the demos then why not get it? I guarantee you that the reviewer didn't like the demos and therefore didn't like the game. It's not like he loved the demos and hated the game, it means you just enjoy different things. Not everyone is the same. Most of the complaints with this game are things I have already experienced in the demos and found that I could easily...
Worst video review ever. He was just reading lines he thought were clever that he wrote in his review. He didn't even try to hide the fact that he was reading it. Jesus.
Also, for the people saying it's bombing, this is the lowest score it's gotten. Most places are giving it 8s. Also, if you actually read his review you'll realize he has the clearly doesn't know what kind of game this is intended to be. It's a Monster Hunter style game with guns, not ...
Really? This piece of crap got a 9/10? Oh well, not like anyone will actually buy it. Sony needs to stop making crappy kid games and realize their audience is the exact opposite of the Wii audience.
At least he's getting something.
It means the next Bungie game will be like $90
Yes, that became apparent after 5 minutes of StarCraft 2. I'm not paying $180 and possible monthly online fees to play a game I played 12 years ago.
Jeez, this is like Burn Notice the video game. Even his name Michael Thornton instead of Michael Westen. Voice sounds very similar, and the way he talks and explains things sounds exactly like the monologues from Burn Notice. Could be a cool game but the graphics suck. Not that it's stopped me from buying a game before.
Yay...ANOTHER shooter, and look, it has zombies too. Love the originality of games these days. Sigh.
It's true. Kids don't know self control. No one's fault but the parents for not teaching it to them. They just give them internet and video games so they'll shut up. No such thing as a real parent anymore, kids mostly raise themselves and they have no idea how to do it, that's why every 12 year old girl is a drunk pot smoking slutbag, and every 12 year old boy is a 250 pound WoW addict.
Uh, they already have the technology to make TVs without glasses. They want to milk the glasses TVs for as much as they can, then release the ones without glasses in hopes that people will rebuy them.
Nope, but I think it's hilarious when companies try to charge double the price for "3D tvs" when they cost the same amount of money to make. And sell 3D glasses for like $200. Ridiculous. I'm not dumb enough to fall for that. Also, 3D channels? Yeah, that'll be great for your vision. Idiots. I can see the "3D permanently effed up my vision because I watch 3D TV for 8 hours a day" lawsuits coming already.
The only people who hate campers are idiots who are dumb enough to continually get killed by one, and people who just suck. If anything campers are easier to kill since they are always in the same place.
The idea has potential but from what I've seen it just doesn't feel very compelling. It feels boring and doesn't flow very nicely, and the combat doesn't look that great. Then again they could have changed a lot since then so it still might surprise me. I'll keep and eye out either way.
Also, calling it game of the year based on the game description is a little dumb.
Laaaame
Dude it's gotten like 3 bad reviews and like 20 good ones. "So many sites"? Do some actual research before you post ignorant statements on the internet.
